Chapter Eighteen

*Dani's POV*

I've been at home all day just being bored. I wish Kendall was here. So does Aunt Cathy. She has been talking about him all day. Just then she walked in the room and sat down on the couch by me. "Whatcha doin?" "Watching TV" "What is it?" "I don't know, it's boring" "So where is Kendall?" I laughed. "He's on his way" Her face lit up. "Awesome, are you guys staying here?" I decided to mess with her, "I don't know, I think we may go see a movie or something." She looked sad. "But we will probably stay here and hang out with you guys." She smiled. "I like that idea" "So obviously you approve of Kendall." "Are you kidding? I love him. And you two are an absolutely perfect couple." I smiled. "Thanks." "So when do you think he will be home?" "I don't know, he texted me about 30 minutes ago saying he was leaving James' house. So I think he should be here in around ten to fifteen minutes." "Great, I'll make snacks." I nodded and she left into the kitchen. I continued my show and a little while after it ended, I heard a knock on the door. "Finally" I said really excited. I opened the door. "Hey" I smiled and hugged him. "Hi" "So how was the reading?" "Great, well, for the most part anyways." "What do you mean?" "Well, can we sit down and talk?" I nodded. I was worried. What could've happened? "So..." "Right. Well let me just say say that I absolutely love the show! I'm super excited! But.." "But?" "But I made a bit of a mistake" "Kendall, what did you do?" "Well, my last name on the show is Knight... and I have a little sister on the show." Katie's last name was Knight. "Wait, so what did you do wrong?" "Well, the said her name was going to be Leah Knight.." "And?" "I didn't feel any peace about it and randomly blurted out that they should call her Katie.." "WHAT?!" "Yeah.." "Kendall! That could end up messing up your performance on the show! Having a little sister named EXACTLY after the one that just died." We both stayed silent. "It's like my way of keeping her with me.. It's really all I have left, the name. It's actually going to improve my performance. It will motivate me for the show to be successful! So that her name can live on as long as possible." I don't understand any of this. "Okay, as long as you're cool" He smiled. And in came Aunt Cathy. "Hey lovebirds!" He laughed. "How's it going Cathy?" She laughed. "I'm great. So what do you think of your show?" "It's great. I'm super pumped about it." "That's great!" It was kind of an awkward silence. "Well I guess I'll let you two talk." She said walking into the kitchen. "Hey, you know what's coming up?" I asked him. "A very special date that should NOT be brought up in conversation to make sure all secrets are kept." I laughed. I hope he is thinking of the same thin as me. Did he forget our six month anniversary is in two weeks?
