Chapter Eleven

*Kendall's POV*

"You're girl is really special." Carlos assured me. "So do you guys have girlfriends." "Nope" they all said in unison. I laughed. I just got a text. "One sec, I think I got a text." "Is it from Dani?" Logan asked. "I doubt it" "Why?" "Well, it's kinda complicated." "We got time" James said looking at the others. "Well, we were both visiting LA separately, me for college and her for vacation. Then, I found out about this" I said pointing to the four of us. They nodded. "She found out I wasn't going back to San Diego and we decided together that we were moving on. But I couldn't get her off my mind so I sang her a song I wrote and she flipped out. She was mad that I confused her and messed with her emotions or something. I tried to comfort her and she got really upset. So she kind of dumped me. Then her dad said he was like self admitting himself to a mental institution which was weird. So apparently she IS staying in LA but I don't know when he is going to tell her so I, I'm kinda just waiting around for a while." "Wow" "That stinks" "Yeah.." "So check the text, what if he told her, what if it's her!" I smiled a little. "Oh alright, but if its not, I'm gonna be disappointed and I blame you, Carlos" He laughed. I picked up the text.

"OH MY GOSH!" "Is it her?" Logan asked. "Yes, but she lives really far away, in Malibu. My car won't last very long because I need to get it repaired and I figured it would last me until I get home and to the reading tomorrow." "Boys, let's go!" James yelled. "You guys are going to take me?" "This is an emergency!" I smiled. "Thanks guys" Logan yelled, "to my car!!!" "How about mine? I just got gas." "Guys!!" Carlos yelled. "Right! Lets go!" We ran to the garage and hopped in the car. Kendall up front I need directions!" James yelled. We got in and started driving. I put her address in my phone and told him everywhere to go. Once we all calmed down Carlos started some conversation. "So what are you going to do when we get there?" "I don't really know. Any suggestions?" "You should sing to her." Logan said. "Last time that just made her mad. She texted me, 'Please hug me' so she just wants comfort I guess." James nodded. "I guess you just knock on the door and hope she answers it." I laughed a little. "What else can I do?" Logan laughed. "So how long of a drive is this?" "About 30 more minutes." "Oh that's not too bad." "Nah" "Hey I have an idea" Carlos said very excited. He grabbed James' auxiliary chord. He played one of our songs for the show. "Let's practice. We can really blow them away tomorrow." "Great idea!" We sang our theme song, Big Time Rush and I had the time of my life. "Singing with you guys is awesome! I think this is going to be a fun journey!" "Yeah, Kendall you're way better than the other guy they picked." Carlos and James shot dirty looks towards him. "What? Was I not supposed to tell him he was a second choice?" James leaned back and smacked his head. "I don't care guys, I'm just glad to be apart if this." They smiled. "Us too."

We finally were pulling up to her neighborhood. "You can do this man." Carlos said encouraging me. We pulled up to her driveway and as the headlights shined on the porch I saw Dani hugging Tyler.
