Chapter Thirty

*Dani's POV*

We went to the hospital and I was very hesitant. "Okay, what happened in the Bounce House place? You look like you've seen a ghost." I didn't respond. Logan opened the door for me but I didn't want to go. I told myself, 'Kendall wouldn't hurt me' and then I walked out. "I don't need a blindfold this time, guys." They were confused but nodded. I looked up to the terrifying building that had me almost killed twice. I took a deep breath and walked in. He told me to ask the receptionist if I needed help, but I don't think I could forget that dreadful room. I walked to the room and just stood in the doorway. "I wish this room never even existed. I wish I had never gotten in the accident." I mumbled to myself. "Then I would've never gotten so close to you." I turned around. "Kendall.." I was so overwhelmed with emotions. I just hugged him. He held me in his arms. "Happy Anniversary" he whispered. I smiled. "Why did you go to all this trouble?" "To make you smile." He said pulling away and looking into my eyes. "Because I love you" I felt a tear roll down from my eye. He obviously wiped it away. I laughed. "What?" "You're always there to dry my tears" He smiled. "And I always will be. Now lets go to the last stop. There were supposed to be a few more but they didn't end up working and I just wanted to talk to you alone in this room." "Why this room?" He grabbed my hand and sat me down on the hospital bed." "This is where we fell in love." I thought about it. As much as I hated being in the hospital, this was where Kendall and I fell in love. I kissed him sweetly. "I love you." "I love you more, Dani." He held my hand and led me out. We walked to the car and the guys looked confused. "The other stops didn't work out, so we are headed to the LAST one." Carlos was confused but said, "Ohhhh Kay" We all laughed. Hope wasn't seeming very interested in Carlos and that made me sad. I just leaned over to Kendall and smiled anyways. I leaned my head on his shoulder. We drove for about ten minutes when we pulled up to a very familiar place. Kendall's mom's house. I looked at him in shock. "This whole time we have been driving back to San Diego?" He smiled and nodded. We walked out of the car and knocked on the door. "Does she know we are coming?" She opened the door.. and screamed. She hugged us tight. "Oh I've missed you so so much. I've been so lonely." "I've missed you too, Momma" She smiled. "Oh Dani, come here hon" she hugged me again. "Okay, Kendall. Everything is set up in the backyard." He smiled and pulled me through the house. He opened the back door and my jaw dropped. There were pretty lights everywhere and candles and a picnic set up as well. "Oh, Kendall, it's-it's perfect." He sat down on the blanket. "Well? Are you up for a midnight snack?" I laughed. "Absolutely" I sat down beside him. We had some fruit and other healthy things, the way Kendall likes it, and I do too. He picked up the basket and put it behind us. He laid down and I laid beside him, my head in his shoulder. We looked at the starry night. "Oh yeah! I almost forgot your gift." "This whole experience isn't my gift?" He laughed. "No, this is." It was a ring. "It's a promise ring," "Oh Kendall, it's beautiful." He put it on my finger. "I promise to stay with you, and never let you go." I smiled really big and hugged him. We laid back down and I admired my ring. "Hey, remember when you didn't remember me? Ha, I'm so glad I got you to Love Me Again." I smiled. "Yeah, and remember when Tyler got between us? Now nothing can separate us, the love we've got is like Untouchable." He smiled. "And I will love you 'Til I Forget About You" "Forget about me??" "Yeah, I'll never forget about you. So, I'll love you forever." I smiled. "I'll love you 'Til I Forget About You too" We laid gazing at the stars together and that night was perfect, just like our love from then on.
