Chapter Nineteen

*Dani's POV*

Tomorrow is me and Kendall's six month anniversary! I can't believe it's been so long. I can't wait to show him what I got him. It's this really nice guitar with a K on the front. Engraved on the back of the neck it says, 'Happy Six Month Anniversary Kendall. Love, Dani' I think he will absolutely love it. Today I think they are working on recording the theme song. I really hope it goes well. Kendall's voice is AMAZING. I know he will do great. The guys are coming with Kendall here tonight. I am super excited to finally meet them. From all Kendall has talked about them, they sound great. Okay so Logan is the one with dark brown, grass like hair, as I remember from the night I had seen him. Carlos is the short and sweet Latino. And James is the super tall one with long brown hair. I can do this. They'll be here in a few hours, and I really need to clean the place up. I headed upstairs to clean the bonus room. I walked in and moved some pillows back on to the couch. I folded throw blankets and tidied up the desk. "This room is done." I said to myself with relief. I went downstairs and tidied up the living room. Cathy was at the store buying snacks for tonight, and Garrett was still at work. I laid out bowls and other dishes. I set out seven cups for all of us and took the time to write our names really cute on our cups. I had everything ready for Cathy to just put the snacks out when she got there. I went up to my room and put my phone on the whole house iHome system. The upstairs hallway is where the main docking station was. I put some music on and it played only in that one. I went downstairs and turned all the other stations on and it started to feel like a party. I was getting really excited. I checked the time. I had about an hour before they would get here, so Cathy should be here any second, and I should get a text from Kendall saying they were leaving. The music got quiet and I heard a loud DING on the speakers. I ran upstairs to check the text.

K~ Leaving the studio now. Be there in an hour or so

D~ Can't wait!

I walked downstairs and in came Aunt Cathy through the garage door. Right on time. I ran to assist her in carrying groceries. "Hey Dani, help me out would ya? I got a couple more bags in the car." "Sure thing" I walked out to the car and grabbed a few bags. I walked inside and laid everything down on the island. I took stuff out of the grocery sacks and laid them in a pile on the table. "Okay Dani, you pour chips in bowls, and I will set out the drinks." "Got it" I grabbed all the chip bags and laid them on the table. I poured each bag in a different colored bowl. I arranged them in a cute shape. Then I walked to the island and grabbed the dip. I grabbed a small container and put the dip in the middle of the chip bowls. "Great job" Aunt Cathy said laughing. "Thanks" She checked the clock and squealed. "They'll be here in 45 minutes. Is the house clean?" "Yes" "Go turn some music on" Oh yeah, I still had my phone from when Kendall texted me. I went upstairs and turned some music back on. I went back downstairs hoping to find Cathy calmed down, but no. "Okay there's music. Is the banner ready?" "Banner? What banner?!" I started freaking out. "Calm down Dani, I was kidding." That wasn't funny. I had a panic attack. "Not cool, Cath" "I'm sorry sweetheart. You did great! Kendall is going to be so surprised. And I know he will absolutely love it." "Thanks" "Speaking of soul-mates, is that Garrett pulling up?" I laughed. "Yeah it is" She smiled. Lets see what he thinks of it. I opened the door to the garage seeing him walking up. "Well, well! What do we have here? A party?" I laughed and hugged him. "Do you like it?" "It's for me?" He said laughing. I playfully slapped his arm. "No, it's for Kendall and his friends." "Well yes Dani, it's great. You and Cathy did it?" I nodded. "Um excuse you Miss Humble, all I did was buy the snacks." Cathy called as she walked into the doorway. "Hey Cath" he said hugging her and kissing her cheek. "I'm serious, it was all her." "Well it's very impressive." I smiled. I hope Kendall thinks so too.
