once tyler got home, he messaged josh who for some reason didn't appear to be st school that day.

Tyjo: yo why weren't you at school?

Jishwa: i'm sick as fuck

Tyjo: well that isn't good

Jishwa: the only thing that would make me better is if you cam over and chilled with me,,

Tyjo: woah for real?

Jishwa: i would never lie to you

Tyjo: okay i'll be around in 10

tyler was getting anxiety. he didn't know what his feelings were for josh. he knew he was gay. he knew he like boys, but he didn't know which boy he liked.

he went downstairs and told his mom he was going to a friend's house.

"which friend?" she raised one eyebrow.

"josh, you know, the new kid?"

"oh yeah, the one with blue hair?"

"yeah, that one"

"be back before seven"

"yep okay"

tyler grabbed his phone which had been charging for 24 hours and walked out his wooden front door. he started down the street before realising he had no fucking idea where josh lived. he texted josh on Kik.

Tyjo: lol where the fuck do you live?

Jishwa: omfg.

Tyjo: IM SORRY

Jishwa: ITS FINE (22 Blues Street btw)

Tyjo: cheers

tyler lived on Blue street aswell which made him happy, being close to his friend. ryan lived about 30 minutes to drive which made tyler sad because ryan was his best friend. tyler walked 5 houses to reach josh's.

"you're here quick" josh said smiling while sitting on a chair in his garden.

"i live 5 houses down" tyler smirked.

"shit really!?"

"yep"

tyler followed josh inside and the walked upstairs into josh's room.

josh's room was bright. brighter than what tyler thought it would've been. it had blue walls to match the blue bed spread (and josh's hair) and posters of about 10 different bands and youtubers on it.

"dude this room slays my life" tyler looked around shocked at the scene.

"i kinda really like the colour blue"

"really? i didn't realise" tyler and josh laughed a bit before breaking into silence. the silence was awkward. so josh broke it.

"you should see my sisters room, it's pinker than pink" tyler laughed.

"so, uh, what should we do?"

"not sure. i mean, i have heaps of mu-"

"DO YOU HAVE ANY INSTRUMENTS?????????"

josh was cut off by tyler basically yelling in his face and josh's face was in shook.

"jesus chill fam. and yes we own like 8 different instruments"

"such as...?"

"well, the drums of course, uh, a saxophone, a trumpet, a recorder for my sister, a piano a gu-"

"A PIANO?????"

"YES THATS WHAT I SAID ISNT IT???"

"I CAN PLAY THAT INSTRUMENT"

"SHOW ME THEN"

tyler and josh walked into the basement where the instruments were all set out. josh's drums were in the corner along with a trumpet and a bass guitar.

tyler went to the piano.

"what should i play?"

"a song"

"genius" tyler laughed.

"uhhh... you know that song, um, the one about taking people to church?"

"um, take me to church?"

"oh yeah. that one"

"yeah i do"

"play"

tyler put his fingers in the position to play the E Minor chord. he pushed the keys down.

"okay ready?" he said, lowkey trying to procrastinate.

"yep go"

tyler started playing the song, singing along too. all josh could do was stare in awe has the 17 year old boy sung like an angel and played the piano like a fucking angel. tyler's voice gave josh goosebumps and made him alsmot cry.

when tyler finished the song, josh looked at him.

"was it any good?" tyler questioned.

"it was actually the most beautiful thing i think i have ever heard"

tyler blushed at that statement but looked down to hide.

"i've written about 3 songs too" tyler stated.

"you should show me some time. do you wanna go back to my room and watch a movie until you have to go?"

"yeah that sounds great"

the two trembled up the steep set of stairs and into josh's bright blue room. they decided to watch the movie 'E.T' and they sat on josh's bed.

"you can lay down if you want" josh invited tyler.

"okay, sure"

the two layed on the bed together watching the intriguing movie.

"you're so cool tyler"

"you're even cooler"
