eventually, ryan and josh had to leave. it hurt tyler that they were leaving. he didn't want them to. but it gave him a perfect opportunity to do something.

to defeat blurryface.

he went inside and told his mum he was going for a walk to the forest to chill for a bit. his mum nodded agreeingly and smiled. tyler out on a jacket and headed out.

it was pretty cold, and kind of dark. tyler looked at his black converse shoes as he walked. watching them step by step. he then looked up at the sky, realising the sun was setting so the colours mixed together in perfect chiaroscuro techniques. he realised how happy he was that he'd managed to stay alive for so long. the sky showed that this world truly does have beauty to show.

the forest was getting closer and tyler was ready. he was ready to let blurryface leave him alone, no matter what it took.

the entrance to the forest was in sight and tyler was nervous, but prepared. he walked closer, hands shaking mildly as he walked into the forest.

"h-hey blurryface, i want to talk to you" tyler called out. and, he heard a reply.

"i'm still here tyler" blurryface replied.

tyler closed his eyes.

"i-i'm ready to let you go" tyler opened his eyes again and looked at the ground.

"why would to let me go tyler? i'm your only friend" blurryface laughed.

"no. you're not my friend at all" tyler replied sternly.

"what a false accusation" blurryface was getting annoyed.

"i don't want you, i don't need you, and you don't belong here" tyler clenched his fists.

"tyler, you don't understa-"

"i said go away! I don't want you! i don't need you! go away!" tyler yelled as loud as he could at blurryface.

"you're not welcome in my head anymore blurryface, and i'm telling you to leave. i'm going to be okay" tyler was getting angrier and angrier.

"i, i don't know what to say" blurryface replied.

"don't say anything, just leave. i don't need your stupid crap anywhere near me or my head"

"i-, if i leave, i'll die" blurryface was trying to make tyler feel guilty, but it was not working.

"and if you don't, i'll die. All you do is piss people off, go away and die for all i care, you're my blurryface, my insecurities and my enemy. i'm so sick of feeling like crap all day. go away!" tyler yelled once again.

there was no reply.

"b-blurryface?" tyler asked out loud.

"are, are you still here" tyler asked again.

still no reply.

blurryface was gone. tyler had defeated him. he was all in tylers head, he wasn't real. all tyler needed to do was tell blurryface, tell him he didn't need him.

finally, for the first time in tylers life, he got rid of the one thing that brought him down.

for the first time ever, tyler could genuinely say 'i'm okay'.

it was the best feeling in the world.

"he's gone" tyler said. "i-i got rid of him" tyler smiled.

"that was so easy, why didn't i do that earlier?" tyler laughed to himself, feeling some sort of guilt for tearing blurryface apart, but still, he was happy.

"i'm never letting HIM back in again. i am okay. i, am, okay" tyler smiled. "let's go home" he continued talking to himself.

okay, so he got rid of blurryface, but he's still the same weird, 17 year old he used to be.

he had never more content and happy with who he was. he could really get used to this.
