It was a new day, but mainly Katie's first day of school. We gave her last week off, so she can get used to the house and the rest of Green Day. I'm just worried that she could get bullied but Adrienne has helped reassure me she won't. I went to Katie's room and woke her up since Jake and Joey were already up. She woke up and complained about Joey playing drums super early in the morning, I heard it to but I wasn't in my room last night...

Katie P.O.V

I woke up and grabbed a pair of socks after changing into some jeans, knee length convers/snickers and a Alice Cooper shirt and went down stairs for breakfast, but before I ate I threw the socks at Joey and said "I don't play guitar when you sleep!" he looked at me like I was a murderer and said "Sorry, I forgot you actually live here now." "UNCALLED FOR!" I shouted. Dad wacked him over the head. "Dad your really quiet, what's up?" I asked. "Nothing, you guys should get going." Dad said really down and droopy. "ok." I said quietly because he didn't want to talk like he usually did. We got up and left but then Jake said "Yeah, you two went to bed and Mum and Dad had an argument when they didn't know I was down stairs." "oh... but it's my first day shouldn't they be happy for me?" I asked. "Come on Kate... we're happy for you and so is Mike, Tre, Brittney and everyone. Don't worry and we will get you through the day." Joey reassured me. "ok..." was all I said for the journey.

Billie P.O.V

The kids left which means it's just me and Adie, since I don't need to go into the studio. "Adie, come on. Don't be mad, it's Katie's birthday this weekend. I love you..." I said but she just ignored me. I pressed play on the CD player and 21 guns came on, so I grabbed her hands and started to dance with her. The good bit, she didn't pull away... "Come on Adie, I'm sorry." I said. "Me to, I'm sorry Billie, I love you." Now that I'm forgiven we continued the dance in silence. This fan changed my life.

We got to school and some people were looking at me but one person stood out... "JOEY!" someone screamed. A guy came running and tackled Joey and then he said "Hi, I'm -" I cut him off and said "Max. I know. Google does exist." He looked freaked, I just smiled. "yeah, she does that." was Joeys reply. "Well come, lets show her round." Jake said. Oh school will be great...

I was taken everywhere but then we came to my homeroom. I walked in after saying bye to Max, Jake and Joey and everyone stopped talkin' and stared at me. "Ah, you must be Katie Joe Armstrong, Welcome to Homeroom." said the teacher. "I'm Mr Ballard. Laugh while you can. Please sit down anywhere." he said laughing. "Alright?" I said since I didn't get the joke. I sat down next to a girl she was shy... Kind of like Millie but she could never replace her. "Hi." I said to her. "Hey." she said quietly. "I'm Katie Joe, but you can call me Katie." I introduced myself. "I'm Anna." she said. "If your an Armstrong then why are you talking to me?" she asked. "because I'm not like my brothers." I said, she smiled. "Do you want to meet my cousin next lesson?" she asked. "OK, it would be cool to make some friends." I said. "Cool." with that bell went and it was time for Music.

We got to music but before I could do something the teacher came to me. "So, your Miss Armstrong. I'm Miss Hatter. now before you get settled would you please preform a song for the class, feel free to grab an instrument." she said. "ok..." I said quietly. I grabbed a guitar (obviously) and started to play Good Riddance.

"Music and Lyrics written by my Dad." I said with a smile. Everyone clapped and I went to sit next to Anna. "WOW. Your amazing. This is Drew by the way, my cousin." Anna said. "Hi and thanks the song means a lot to me." I said. "Hey gurlys watch it, Jade's comin' your way?" Drew said. "Oh God, Just act normal." Anna said to me. "Hey, You shouldn't waste your time with Anna here. She's a loner, but your an Armstrong so come sit with me." This Jade girl Demanded. "Um.. no thanks I don't want to turn into someone I'm starting to hate... But Anna's Cool." I said with a smile. "SHUT UP YOU LOSER. COME SIT WITH ME!" Jade shouted, everyone went silent. "Wait, you just asked me to sit with you... Doesn't that make you the loner." I said with pure pride. Anna was smiling like there was no tomorrow. The whole class 'ohh' as she stomped off. Me and Anna high fived and laughed.

It was the end of the day, I only made two friend, Anna and Drew but who cares they're great. I met up with Jake and Joey and they were asking about my day. "It was great, I have two friends but still. I can't wait for tomorrow... wait did I just say that?" I asked. We ended up laughing it was so fun. When we got home Mum and Dad were there laughing on the sofa at something, I guess they made up. "HI!" I shouted and made them jump, that got us laughing. Well.. Until Dad stated tickling me. "So.. How was your day?" Dad asked after he stopped and I was Lying on him. "Good. I made two friend called Anna and Drew, they are cousins and also I took on a bully." I said. "Wait. you didn't get in a fight did you?" Mum asked. "No. I just told her who's boss." I said with a smile. "Good, Now who's up for pizza." Mum said, which caused Me, Jake, Joey and Dad to scream. "ME!"
