Yes, This chapter is called Holiday, after their song. But here is why...

Katie P.O.V

WOW. their here!, My Mom and Dad are here! Now I come to think about I, there is gonna be a lot of questions. Oh God, can't breath, stupid Irish family, where is my inhaler?

I made my way over to them, 'I'm so nervous' I thought. "Katie Joe, you know your parents, Billie and Adrienne." Mr Whaler said. "Well duh...I told you everything there is to know about the Green Day family." I said, that got a smirk from my Dad. "Of Course, I'll just leave you three to talk." Mr Whaler said then left.

We sat down at one of the tables by the café on the field. I still can't get over the fact the Billie Joe Armstrong in my Dad. "So...Where do we start?" Mom said. I shrugged my shoulders then said "My favourite colour is red, I love pandas and monkeys, I play bass and guitar although I am better at guitar. my guitar is called Jimmy, Keith got me him when I was 7. I have had 15 families all together, but the reason I'm here now is I feel it is wrong for a family to raise you when your real family is out there somewhere, although you are here now. I have been is Scotland for 3 years, here for one, Ireland for 2 and back here for 5. my best friends are Millie, Allyson and Daniel, there is also Mia and Tia, the twins and Alex and Oliver, who are best friends and not to for get Keith, the cook at the orphanage, he basically raised me. We called are self's The Nuclear Family. If you look round England then you will notice on the sigh's there is a Green Day song title or lyric, yes I did that, the cool bit is there is a reason for each name and the police don't mind that I did it. Everyone basically calls England City Of The Dead since nothing ever happens around here, we are basically livin' in Redundant. oh and not to forget that the road that leads to the orphanage is called The Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, due to the fact that half of my life has been in a orphanage. If you are wondering I like to give hell to the families that adopt me, only one time an Irish family got so annoyed of me and...Beat me up...now I have a permanent bump on my head and I'm stuck with...with an inhaler." I said all of that but at the end tears came the best of me. Dad look pretty ticked of that I got beat, but then he calmed down and gave me a hug. "No one has ever hugged me before." I said with a sniffle. it felt nice.

It was getting late, my Mum and Dad know pretty much everything there is to know about me. "OI YOU LOT LETS GO, IT'S LATE!" shouted Mr Whaler. "oh KAY." I screamed, which made my Mum and Dad laugh. We walked back, but then I realised Keith had Jimmy, that got me a bit annoyed, so I snatch Jimmy out of his hands and started playing Holiday. My Dad had a big smile on his face when he heard the tune.

Say, hey!

Hear the sound of the falling rain

Coming down like an Armageddon flame (Hey!)

The shame

The ones who died without a name

Hear the dogs howling out of key

To a hymn called "Faith and Misery" (Hey!)

And bleed, the company lost the war today

I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

This is the dawning of the rest of our lives

On holiday

Hear the drum pounding out of time

Another protester has crossed the line (Hey!)

To find, the money's on the other side

Can I get another Amen? (Amen!)

There's a flag wrapped around a score of men (Hey!)

A gag, a plastic bag on a monument

I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

This is the dawning of the rest of our lives

On holiday

(Hey!)

(Say, hey!)

"The representative from California has the floor"

Sieg Heil to the president Gasman

Bombs away is your punishment

Pulverize the Eiffel towers

Who criticize your government

Bang bang goes the broken glass and

Kill all the fags that don't agree

Trials by fire, setting fire

Is not a way that's meant for me

Just cause (hey, hey, hey), just cause, because we're outlaws yeah!

I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

This is the dawning of the rest of our lives

I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

This is the dawning of the rest of our lives

This is our lives on holiday!

By the time I got to the representative of California, Dad joined the song. Mum looked so happy. By the way I will only swear if I'm singing a song with swearing in it, apart from that, I hate swearing.

We arrived at the home of the Nuclear Family (the orphanage) and Mum said They where stayin' the night here and we where going home on Monday. 'Cool' I thought, then I looked at Millie, she was sad and ran to her room. Me being the best friend that I am, I ran after her leaving everyone confused apart from Emily who was laughing her head off.

Cool, this chapter is done. What do you think is up with Millie? and will Katie Joe punch Emily's lights out for laughing?
