Epilogue: Ending

I heard a car horn outside and when I checked the time it was 3:30, when Luke said he’ll pick me up so deducted it was probably Luke. I locked the door behind me and turned around to find Luke leaning against a Porsche and looking incredibly hot. He smiled when he saw me and cupped my face with his hand to kiss me.

“Hey,” he smiled down at me.

“Hey,” I replied breathlessly. Luke always knew how to make me speechless with just a simple kiss, or maybe just only seeing him made me weak in the knees. Especially with his new lip ring, that piece of metal was fucking hot. “Um what’s with the Porsche?”

“Do you still remember our first date? I thought I could pick you up in a Porsche for our first official date back home as an actual couple.”

“Even though it’s still illegal for you to drive without someone over eighteen in the car with you?”

“I just wanted to have that little moment thing of the romantic setting, but we’re going to have to walk there. It’s not far.”

I laughed. “You are the cutest person to ever walk this planet.”

He gave me a little cute grin that just made him even cuter. He held out of his hand and I took it before we headed down the pathway.

“How come Calum’s fine with us being together?” Luke asked curiously.

“You know what? I’m surprised too, unless he tells you the actual truth, we’re just going to have to stick by the story he told me.

Calum continued to kiss down my neck, I unwillingly let out a small moan when he found my sensitive spot where my neck met my shoulder and sucked gently. Even though he was working wonders to my body by running his hands up and down my body, I knew this was wrong. So wrong to be thinking about Luke when Calum was doing things to me I’d never even dreamed of (not that I dream about that sort of stuff, but that’s exactly my point).

My breath hitched when Calum’s hands stopped at the hem of my T-shirt, his fingertips skimming along my bare skin. I pulled away immediately.

“Calum I can’t,” I whispered.

“You’re right sorry, I really should’ve asked if you’re ready for it, sorry.”

“No, no it’s not that… well… that too, but there’s something else,” I took a deep breath, “and it involves Luke.”

“You love him don’t you?”

“How did you know?” I whispered.

“The lads talked to me.”

“They did? They promised to not say!”

“Don’t blame them. They just wanted it to be the best for both of us.”

“So you’ve known this whole time? How can you even be near me, let alone kiss me? Even I feel disgusted at myself.

“Coz I love you. I don’t know if you still love me… or if you ever did, but I just wanted to let you know I do.” Damn those tears that had to start pouring down. “And also I wanted to see if you’re worthy of Luke.”

“Of course I’m not! I don’t deserve either of you guys.”

“No, you’re perfect and once again,” Calum cupped my cheek with one of his hands and looked down into my eyes, “stop thinking the worst of yourself.”
