Journeys can be interesting things, whether they are a personal journey of goals and success, one where the prince journeys to find his princess, or a journey for something lost.
The remaining 100's was none of those things pinpointed, yet all of them at the same time. Bellamy on his way to find his princess, Jasper trying to find himself again, Raven finding her lost happiness. Clarke could see how down everyone was and ordered for a change of scenery away from the edge of the river. Plus they could look for more supplies as well, explore the terrain, and lift everyone's spirits.
"Hey guys" Clarke began. "I think that we should take a brake, get away from here for a while"
"What good will that do? The only place we have left to go is Arcadia" Octavia replied.
"That's not true, there are many places we still haven't been to" Bellamy cut in. "I agree with Clarke"
"We can take the jeep" Clarke said.
"Start packing up your things" Bellamy finished her sentence. Clarke looked at him smugly and Bellamy felt his heart hurt.
When the group finished packing, they all packed themselves and their things into the jeep. The jeep's windshield was covered in a layer of frost and snow since it had been snowing harshly for the past few days. The weather was almost more bipolar than Jasper's own mood swings. One day it was raining a flood, the next it was snowing a blizzard, ad the next day it could be complete sunshine, not a cloud in the sky.
"I'll get it" Bellamy offered, gesturing towards the windshield of the jeep.
"Go ahead" Clarke said, handing his a wooden handle with a small sliver of metal at the end. Bellamy climbed out of the jeep and wiped the snow off the windshield with his coat sleeve, then continued to chip at the frost that stuck to the windshield. Raven poked her head out of the Jeep's window.
"Can you hurry it up out there? I'm freezing and we want to get going" Raven said.
"Yeah, i'm trying, just give me a second" Bellamy responded through chattered teeth. He chipped away the last of the frost and jumped back into the jeep.
"Let's get the hell out of here" Jasper said.
Clarke stepped on the gas and they went into drive. Bryan and Miller sat huddled under a blanket together in a corner of the jeep, holding onto each other to keep warm.
Jasper and Monty were talking about girls, while Raven slept. Octavia rode alongside the Jeep on her horse Chestnut, while mocha followed behind, not daring to leave it's child's side.
Bellamy sat next to Clarke in the front seat of the jeep.
"Do you know where we are headed?" Bellamy asked her.
"Not a clue" she replied.
"Listen... Clarke" Bellamy began.
"I don't want to talk about it Bellamy, i'm trying to focus on my driving" Clarke quickly cut him off. "The whole Pike incident can wait until later"
"Okay" Bellamy said. "Can i at least help you with directions, or get your mind off of things?" he asked.
"You can just make sure everyone is okay in the back" Clarke responded, staring ahead at the snow covered forest. She kept driving until she came into a clearing, ahead of them was an ice covered lake. She slammed on the brakes and stared ahead.
