Everyone loves a good adventure.

It was dead. The air. The deer. The sounds of the forest, dead. The only sound was the chatter of Clarke's teeth, chattering quietly in her own ears.

"Do you have any idea where we are going?" Clarke asked Bellamy, who was still dragging the dead deer he had shot by its antlers behind him.

"Monty told me to follow my compass westward, which is what my compass says. We are heading west"

"Well, we need to find a place to stop before sun down, or we will freeze to death by the time the sun rises again" Clarke stopped walking, pointing
towards the sun, which was setting behind a large mountain peak.

Bellamy nodded his head in silent agreement. He looked down at his compass again, then straight forward to the horizon ahead. He then looked around, circling in a counter clockwise motion. "I don't see any place to go"

"Stay here with the deer and I'll go look around. Maybe I can find a small shelter under a tree or something" Clarke responded, setting her bag down at her feet.

"Anything is fine as long as it will keep the fire safe from the wind"

The wind had picked up, causing the trees to rustle and a whooshing sound to fill the once dead silence. That was the only sound to be heard. Besides the crisp snow crushing under Clarke's feet as she walked through the snow, farther and farther away from Bellamy and the dead deer.

She clicked the on button on the flashlight she held in her gloved hand. She turned the knob to the left, setting it to a lower brightness setting. She didn't want to be too noticeable in case any creatures were lurking in the night.

She took another stuff forward, stepping on a branch that cracked loudly under her foot. It seemed to echo louder than it should have. Clarke slowly brought the flashlight upward and looked ahead. It seemed to be a cave of some sort, yet she couldn't see the back of it. She nodded her head and turned back toward the direction in which she came.

When she got back, Bellamy saw her and stood up quickly. "Did you find a place?" He asked eagerly.

"Actually I did, come this way" she gestured with her hand while picking up her backpack and slinging it over her shoulder once more.

They arrived back at the cave like structure and made their way inside.

"It doesn't seem like a cave to me" Bellamy said.

"Thats what I though, you can't see the back"

"It's like a tunnel to no where" Bellamy added. "Should we see where it leads to?"

"Might as well"
