The ice nation had come to Arcadia, unannounced. Holding weapons. Standing at the gates, barrels drawn.

Their fingers were trigger happy, hovering over the trigger, wait to pull it any second.

"Put your hands where we can see them" one of them said.

Kane slowly raised his hands above his head.

The ice nation member stepped forward and pulled down a small mask that covered half his face. It was Nicklaus the renegade.

Kane recognized him.

"Nicklaus what is this all about?" Kane asked, keeping his voice calm and his hands raised.

"Kane. That's a stupid question. You know exactly what this is about" he paused, exhaling, his breath releasing into the crisp air, the wind blowing away the smoke. "Everything, everybody, is in havoc"

"Yes I know this"

"It's all because your stupid friend entered the city of light" Nicklaus said. He ordered his men to lower their guns.

Nicklaus had been a part of Lincoln's group of friends. He had recently joined ice nation, moved up in their ranks, and made himself known.

"You know that wasn't my fault, our fault" Kane gestered to the people behind him.

"Keep your hands raised!!" An ice member yelled.

Kane flinched.

"I beg to differ Kane. With the radiation coming, and supplies being limited, their isn't much anyone can do" Nicklaus said. The look in his yes was one of sadness.

"Yes I understand Nicklaus, but we can work together. We don't have to steal and threaten from eachother" Kane offered.

"That isn't the way ice nation does things Kane. You know this. You've been playing the game for a long time now"

Kane sighed. "Yeah I know"

"So Kane, either you let us into Arcadia, you shelter us, or we kill your men"

"We don't need to go to drastic measures Nicklaus" Kane said calmly.

Nicklaus made a symbol to a member to his right.

His gun was lifted pointed at Abby, and the trigger was pulled.
