   My wide hips sway to the beat of Lil Yatchy's, "One Night", as I wind my long weave. I was supposed to be ready thirty minutes ago but then my song came on and then another one and...you know how that goes. I'm nearly finished. It's just my hair. My makeup is done flawlessly by me. I'm not the type to put on a lot of makeup, just a little foundation to cover up my freckles and acne. I'm not ashamed of my freckles but I am of my acne. My fake lashes blend perfectly and I didn't have to do too much to my eyebrows since I just went to the salon and got them waxed.

   Once I finish curling my hair to fall over my big forehead I unplug everything and grab my purse. It's my favorite because the strap is long and looks like a chain and it's small enough for my phone, wallet, makeup, and keys. I take a look at myself in my full-length mirror. My nude crop top shows off my flat stomach and my right arm which is covered in tattoos due to the spaghetti straps. My black pants are simple with the leather strip on each side. My outfit is accompanied by my aunt's gold Rolex and my dramatic gold and pink necklace and thick black pumps.

   I smile, revealing my one deep dimple on my right cheek, satisfied with the bold simplicity of my look.

   How my friends convince me to come out and party with them tonight is beyond me. I originally planned on staying in and catching up on Gone Girl. Aunt Jackie surprised me by buying the movie and me being me I have to read the book before I watch the movie. It's the law.

   I make my way to the front room where my little sister, Angela, sits watching some weird vampire movie on t.v. "Angie, lock the door when I leave. My phone will stay on vibrate so if you need anything text me. Don't call. Oh, and don't answer the door for anyone." I say sternly.

   She rolls her eyes and mumbles, "Bria I know this already. You look cute."

   I twirl around to give her a full view of my outfit. She smiles clapping her hands dramatically. Angela is younger than me by two years. She and I have a good relationship but she has an attitude problem, especially when it comes to Aunt Jackie. I don't know what her problem is and believe me I've tried to talk to her but everything I say goes through one ear and out the other. People say the two of us look just alike but we don't really see it. Maybe that's just a sibling thing. My best friend, Kayla, says the same thing in reference to her and her big brother.

   "Thanks, girl. I'll stop and bring you some food on the way back in case you're still up. Later."

   "Later."

   I spray some perfume on me and stuff the bottle in my purse before leaving. Kayla is waiting for me in her dad's car. I can tell from here that she wore the dress I picked out for her. It sticks to her hourglass frame nicely. It looks even better with Her natural hair in its curly state. Plump lips glossed over. Her and the other girls start whistling and making catcalls as I make my way to the car. Lira starts talking about how we need to take some pictures for Instagram. She's obsessed with social media. She has Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, you name it she has it. I only have a Facebook that I'm barely on. I don't have time to get wrapped up in all of that.

   Lira has this beautiful olive skin and these gorgeous big eyes that appear to sparkle in the light. She has braces too, which look nice on her. I only just met her this school year but it already feels like we've been friends all our life. I love her loud mouth and crazy personality.

   Erica, on the other hand, is just mean, well when you first meet her. I could not stand her at first but now that I know her she's really cool. She has the wildest style and I love it. She has a dimple in both of her cheeks. She and I are the only two in our crew with dimples. Her step-sister, Stephanie, wasn't as blessed and we joke with her all the time about it. She always responds with some silly comments about her breast and booty making up for it. Ugh, light skins.
