"Thank you," I respond to another one of Isaiah's complements. I just finished briefing him on my amazing hair skills. I do my own hair and I often have clients. They come over to my house of course. I don't have a shop or even a license. I'm only seventeen.
I send Angela a quick text letting them know we're ready to leave. Isaiah and I have been enjoying each other's company and each other's kisses...and touch...but I'm getting tired and I need to get Angela home anyway.
Isaiah pulls up to my house and a pout forms on my lips. I really dont want to go but there's no way I'm spending the night at his house. He gets out with us and walk us to the door. I hand Isaiah the key and she goes inside.
I pull my hair out of my face. "I had fun tonight."
"Me too."
Smiling, I place my hand behind his neck and pull his lips down towards me since he's so tall. Our lips meet and I immediately begin my assult on them, pulling and sucking on his bottom lip. He rest his hands dangerously low on my back. Honk! Honk! The sound of Chase blowing the horn snaps us out of little session. I plant a quick kiss on his lips then he turns to leave, leaving me flushed.
He's such a nice guy, I think as I watch him leave. When he gets in his car I go inside. I take a quick shower before I change my mind then lay down and go to sleep.
Saturday morning I wake up around 10:30. I never sleep past twelve. I don't know how Angela does it. I complete my morning routine then pour me a bowl of cereal to eat in the living room. There's nothing good on t.v. this morning so Netflix it is. It takes me a good thirty minutes just to find a movie I haven't seen and want to watch. Too bad Isaiah isn't up. He hasn't text me so that's how I know. He needs his rest after yesterday's game anyway.
As a matter of fact...
I pick up my phone and dial his number. He doesn't answer so I call him again. This time he picks up. He sounds tired as he says, "hello?"
"Oh you were sleeping? Sorry for waking you." No I'm not.
"It's cool. I was about to get up anyway. You okay?"
"I need someone to talk to. I'm bored. You want to go to the beach?"
"Where are the girls?"
"Sleep." I know they are. They are not morning people.
Shuffling is heard on the other line along with some incoherent mumbling. "Okay. Ill be over in twenty." After hanging up the phone I head to my room to change. I pick out a simple nude one piece with a cute halter neck line that give my small boobs a little push. My black shorts are found in the bottom of my underwear draw. I peak in Aunt Jackie's room to find her sound asleep with a gold bonnet over her head, protecting her fresh style. Her chunky body is spread out over the bed. I close her door back.
Isaiah arrives in his white Toyota when he said he would. I greet him with a kiss after climbing in. "You seem cheery this morning."
"We're going to the beach. What's not to be cheery about?" He eyes me wearily. Shugging it off, I turn and put my seat belt on. "Lets go."
The beach is a little empty when we arrive. Most people usually go the beach over town since it has a little water park next to it and a pier, which is why I chose this place. We pull the blankets out if the trunk and find a nice spot shaded by a thick palm tree. I throw my bare leg over Isaiah's. We sit in a comforting silence as we watch birds fly across the sky. The smell of the salty water assulting my nose.
My thoughts begin to shift to Kenneth so I shake my head in an attempt to shake the thoughts away. I shouldn't be thinking about him. Especially not now. But I can't help it so I decide to try something else to push him off of my mind: I climb on top of Isaiah, straddling him. His eyes flick open, revealing his shocked brown orbs. "What are you doing?" He questions. I ignore him and instead press my lips against his, both my arms on either side of his face. The question seemingly lost as he kiss me back. I flick my tounge across his and he grants me access. My warm tounge explores his mouth, causing a series of moans to escape us.
Eventually I pull away, staring down at his beautiful face, a dazed look in his eyes. "We should slow down." I admit. If we would have kept going who knows what would have happened. I am not trying to give it up at the beach.
He clears his throat. "You're right."
"Are we dating or what? What is this?" He gestures between me and him for emphasis.
Turning away from him, I lay back on my back on the towel. I knew this was coming. We've been spending a lot of time together so it's understandable that this question came up. "I don't want to hurt you and I sure as hell don't want you to hurt me. I'm a nice girl and people tend to take advantage of that." Due to my big heart people often see me as soft or a push-over. I have been hurt so many times. I have a big heart. I'm a nice person.
Placing a hand under my chin, Isaiah turns my face gently so that I'm looking him directly in the eyes. "This may not mean much but my intentions aren't to harm you. You don't have to answer me now. Just promise me you'll at least think about it."
I contemplate my next choice of words. Finally, looking up at him I say, "I promise."
