Techno music blasted through the speakers loudly, making everyone's bodies shake. Strobe lights shinned black light on the bowling alley, letting any light colored clothing shine as if it were neon.

"Take that bitches!" Angelica screams, before doing a small victory dance.

"Uh Angelica.." I say, pointing at the bowling lane "You hit one pin".

After sending me an ice filled glare, she grabs another ball. With the rapid swing of her arm, the ball lands on the lane with a loud bang before rolling into the gutter. "This game is rigged" Angelica pouts, stomping back to her seat, where Alex puts a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"I'll show you how it's done Geli" Zach says smoothly as he grabs a ball.

Instantly he falls to the ground, making up erupt into laughter.

"Did I forget to mention that ball is 25 pounds?" Jeffery gets out between laughs. "Not cool Shit" Zach sneers, leaving the ball on the ground. "Aw, what happened to 'and Giggles'?" Jeffery asks, pulling out a pout lip.

"You're just a little shit, Shit" Zach says before grabbing and ball and shooting it down the lane. A bang goes through the alley, making him smile. "I got 5!" he screams, sliding down onto his knees, and beginning a guitar solo.

After Zach gets a gutter ball, it's my turn to go.

From this moment, everyone has been smiling and laughing, myself included. But bowling has always been my favorite game. My parents on the other hand...didn't see it as a bonus, so it was cut from my life.

Grabbing a 10 pound purple ball, I hold it up to my face as I walk towards the slippery floors. Once I step up, my smile falls, focus entering my mind. This was my face all throughout highschool, a bitchface. Maybe that's why no one wanted to talk to me?

Shaking the thought from my mind, I walk forward, moving the ball behind me before shooting it forward.

"OH MY GOD!" Alex screams as all the pins fall. "WOOHOO! YOU GOT A STRIKE!" Jeffery calls, running to me and embracing me. Alex, Angelica and Zach soon join this intimate hug, making it a group .

"Okay! Okay!" I say, breaking the hug apart "I may have played a little".

"Yeah, more like every Saturday" Alex states, a large grin on her paled face. Even with the strobe lights, her face seemed to get even more white.

Angelica however seemed quiet, and had long since fled to her seat. Looking down, I took it as nothing. Hopefully I was right.

"I suck at this game" Angelica whines as we enter the 3rd game.

"We all do" Jeffery points out with a wicked yawn. By this point, it was almost midnight, and we were suppose to sleep at the hotel. Then, before leaving D.C, we would go to a club, which Angelica was over excited for.

"Not Grace, she's winning with 134" Zach points out, his eyes fluttering shut.

"Eh....not my best game" I say almost smugly. I know I shouldn't brag, but the thought of being the best filled me with joy. "Alright Miss Fancyname" Angelica says, a smirk on her lips "I bet you I'll get a strike".

"And if you do?" I ask, crossing my arms. "You carry me out of here on your back, screaming that I am the best" Angelica states, putting her hands on her hips. "And if you miss, you'll be carrying me out on your back, of course after you get me some fries" I say, an evil gin playing on my lips.

"You're on, prepare to lose" Angelica says, grabbing the bowling ball and marching towards the lane.

"Angelica is the best bowler!" I scream at the top of my lungs as I carry her out of the establishment.

Once we get outside, I hang my head in shame at my loss. Somehow, Angelica managed to get a strike, deeming her the winner.

"You shouldn't have messed with me Gracie" Angelica coos, patting my hair like I was a dog.

"I feel like my back is going to break" I grumble, my legs shaking as I move towards the car. "Come on Geli, give her a break" Jeffery says, walking next to us.

"Sorry brother, we made a bet, and she lost" Angelica states proudly. She shifts her weight, probably doing a pose. With a groan, I stumble and fall onto the pavement. "Whoa!" Zach calls, probably catching Angelica, who I presume took flight. *

"Ugh, I'm sorry Angelica" I groan, laying on the cement.

"It's fine, just don't do it again" she snickers before groaning as well. "If everyone is going to lay on the cement, count me in" Zach states before joining Angelica and I on the ground. This makes Jeffery and Alex also lay down.

"What do we do now? I'm too lazy to get up" Angelica groans loudly to the rest of us.

"Think about our place in the universe?" Jeffery suggests as we look at the stars above us.

Little did I know, the last time I would see these stars, it wouldn't be as peaceful.
