It was over 10 minutes since Monica left, and we were still left silent.

"Your cousin..was interesting" Alex states, her voice distant.

"I know..that's not even all of her. You all just got the prologue" I whisper, taking deep breaths.

"Well, where should we go next?" Jeffery asks, pulling out a map of the U.S.

"Maybe New Orleans?" Zach suggests, making Angelica nod. "Or Tennessee!" Alex exclaims, pointing on the map.

"If you want to look at nothing but Confederate Flags, go for it" I say, making her face red.

Suddenly, a finger points to a state "Or maybe Miami".

My eyes glance up at Monica, who's lips are swollen, and the forming of hickeys on her neck. She slides into the booth, right next to Jeffery, who eyes the marks on my cousin.

"Oh great, you're back" Angelica sighs.

"Well, I was thinking, since you guys are on a road trip, I should join you" Monica laughs, still on her high from whatever person she was kissing.

"No" I state, sending a look at Monica.

"Aw why not?" she pouts "I won't pull another Monica".

"What do you mean 'another' Monica?" Zach questions, his eyes wide. This couldn't be happening.

"Well, you all remember that party I mentioned?" Monica smiled, tapping her nails on the table.

"Monica. Don't" I say, my voice holding a harsh tone. "Come on Cousin, that party was one of your best moments" my cousin says, turning away from me.

"So, it was four years ago" Monica begins, ignoring my pleading for her to stop.

"Come on Gracie!" Monica coos from outside her closet.

My body feels squeezed, and at any moment, I would melt into a puddle on the floor. Somehow I was able to shove myself in a dress that was 3 sizes too small. My braces had already hooked it and nearly ripped it apart.

"I don't know Monica.." I trail off, gazing in the mirror. More of my body was exposed than covered up. My parents would die at the mere thought of it.

Already, my ankles were swelled from the high heels, yet they held a certain charm I couldn't resist.

"I bet you look great Gracie!" Monica calls out, her voice closer to the door.

Taking a breath, a plaster a smile on my face. Turning, I open the door, revealing my cousin, who wore even less than I.
