After Monica spilled the beans on the party, the group decided to go down to Florida.

After a few days of screaming along to old rock songs, and even some old rap, it all came tumbling down.

Since the car was already filled, Monica rode separately in her own car, which I was thankful for.

Pulling my bag over my shoulder, I was ready to do nothing more than to sleep in a bed. Sure, leaning on Jeffery or vise versa was nice, but I just wanted to stretch my legs and cuddle into a warm blanket before allowing sleep to take over.

"There's my baby cousin!" Monica cheers, wrapping her arm around me. "You know I'm only two years younger than you?" I ask, annoyance bleeding through my voice.

"Yes, I know" Monica sighs, rolling her eyes "But it's TWO years baby cousin, I mean a lot can happen in that time".

Frowning, I pull away from her grip. "Let's just get our rooms" I sigh, stopping by Jeffery, who wraps an arm around my body.

-Jeffery's POV-

After having to leave Grace, Zach and I make our way to our room. Luckily, we got our own beds, while the four girls were forced to share.

"Hey Jeff" Zach says, sitting down on his bed "Would you mind if Alex came over?" he questions, a glint of mischief in his eyes.

Catching what he was putting down, I cringe. "Come on Zach, really? I don't need that image in my head" I groan, trying to keep the thoughts from flashing through my mind.

"Please Jeffery, you and Grace can get all touchy in the car, but when I want to do with my girlfriend, it's not allowed?" Zach states, his tone salty.

"What? Grace and I- wait you and Alex are a thing?" I ask, jumping from subject to subject.

Laughing awkwardly, he grabs at his neck "Yeah, we hooked up back in the city, and things just happened".

Looking down, I wish it was that easy. Sure, Grace and I had a connection, anyone could see that, but maybe her feelings weren't romantic. I didn't want to force anything on her, yet everyday my need for her grew.

Suddenly, the door opens, revealing Grace herself. With a fading blush on her face, she looks at the two of us. "The girls want to go to the beach, and since we didn't bring swimsuits, we're going shopping" she says, tilting her head slightly.

"We'll be down in a minute" I respond, a grin on my face. This girl would be the end of me.

-----------------

After Zach and I quickly found bathing suits, paid for them, then changed into them, the girls were still busy looking around.

"Can you girls hurry up? By the time we get to the beach, it'll be dark" Zach calls to a whispering Monica and Angelica.

"Don't worry, we won't take as long as you did doing your hair in High-school!" Angelica calls out, flicking her wrist. Pulling out an exposing swimsuit, she quickly rushes to the changing room.

Sighing, I knew all eyes would be on Angelica, which may or may not be good.

Quickly sitting up, Zach stares at his girlfriend, who probably was in a hot swimsuit.

My eyes however were trained on Grace, who gazed at me in her purple and white swimsuit. Two months ago, Grace would never wear something like this. Before, she was content in sweaters and jeans. Now, she was exposing herself in ways that would make her parents heads spin.

"You look great" I smile, hooking my arm around her bare shoulders.

Biting her lip, her eyes find mine once again. "Thank you, I like your swimsuit too" she notes, her fingers dancing along my arm.

Opening my mouth to say something, Monica and Angelica bust into the scene. Pushing her cousin aside, Monica takes Grace's place. Instantly, I want to pull away from Monica's grip, yet a laugh that is so much different from Grace's bubbles from her throat.

"Let's head to the beach!" Angelica calls, pulling Grace to her own side.

--------------------------

To say the beach was crowded was an understatement.

An array of little kids, couples (young and old) filled the place. The hum of voices filled the air, along with the beating of the sun made things hard to see.

Yet, I was able to spot a clear area of sand.

"Geli! There!" I call out, pointing my arm.

"Hurry!" Zach calls out, pointing in another direction "That soccer mom has her eyes set on the spot!".

Whipping my towel and shirt over my shoulder, the three of us run across the beach, hot sand burning our soles as we try to get the spot.

Throwing herself forward, Geli body slams into the sand. Spreading her limbs out, she claims the spot for our group. As the other girls join us, the other family passes us. With the mother being the only one glaring at Geli, the men and boys smirk and smile at Geli.

Laying his towel down, Zach says "I swear Geli, you're going to make every women hate you before next school year". Sitting down on her towel, my sister snaps with "Not my fault, confidence is intimidating to those that lack it".

Shaking my head, I turn to Grace, who holds the beach bag tightly to her body.

"Hey Grace, want to make a sand castle?" I question, a large smile on my face. Quickly sending her into a fit of laughter, she nods.

Holding out my hand, she takes it as I then lead her a few feet away to begin our project.
