After waking up to the harsh words of "Get up or I'm leaving your ass here", we were left in silence.

I now took Zach's place, sitting up front with Angelica.

Her hands gripped the wheel, anger clearly leaking through her pores along with sadness.

I watched her fingers wipe her eyes multiple times, trying to stop herself from crying.

"Angelica, are we going to pretend what happened didn't happen?" Zach questions.

"Yes we are" Angelica growls, turning on the radio.

"Angelica please, we love you and want to talk to you" Jeffery begs from the backseat."

She responds by turning up the radio.

The angry lyrics pound in my chest, sending vibrations throughout my body. The feeling itself felt enraging and surely did so to Angelica. As every few minutes it got louder.

"Angelica!" I scream, turning down the music "Talk to us!" An urgency laced my tone, eyes wide as I gazed at the girl.

"Grace, don't" Angelica sneers, turning up the music again.

Groaning, I debate on my next move. I could loose a finger, but it was worth it. Snatching the aux cord, the music is cut off, leaving a loud static noise.

"Talk to me Angelica!" I plead.

She whips her head to me, no longer looking at the road. "Grace I swear to god."

"Angelica."

"Grace stop!"

"Geli!"

"Usnavi, stop it!"

"Angeli-"

"Damn it! STOP IT STOP IT" Angelica screams at the top of her lungs, hands banging on the steering wheel. Our cries for her cease as her own tantrum begins.

"Just leave me alone! Damn you all!" She cries out, eyes fluttering shut.

"Geli!" Jeffery and Zach yell out in unison.

Looking forward, my face pales.

Somehow in the fight, Angelica changed into the opposing lane. Cars swung around us, barely missing the mirrors on the car.

"Angelica!! Watch the road!" I scream.

Her eyes open, her mouth opening in shock.

Ahead of us was an oncoming semi. The driver laid on the horn, knowing what would happen if we didn't move.

At this rate, our car would smash so hard into the truck, it would most likely disintegrate on impact.

I'm frozen, trapped, everything moving slowly. A hand grips my arm, trying to pull me away from the seat.

Swerving the wheel, Angelica is able to shift the car, barely missing the semi.

Our voices scream to each other, to nothing, to everything.

"Grace! God a-" Jeffery starts before another car slams into us.

The seatbelt tightens around my body, yet it still manages to slam to the left. I feel my leg get crushed, loud crunching noises through the air.

A scream unlike anything I've ever heard of gurgles from my throat and filling the air.

The others scream around me, both of fear and pain.

WHAM.

Our car is pushed forward by another car, a heavy weight bouncing off of the seat.

Pain seethes through me, heart racing.

I try to call out to someone, anyone but my voice is weak.

My vision is blurred, but I'm awake.

All the noise, the screams are silent.

Somehow in the mayhem, the car ended up on its side. My side pressed on broken glass and cement. My hand shook violently, glass from the windows stabbing it.

I looked around, everyone was either passed out or so lost that they were unresponsive.

Angelica hung above me, her mouth parting open and closed, eyes fluttering. I could already see the bleeding on her head, glass in her arms.

Hanging in the backseat was Alex, the belt tight around her growing stomach. An awful stench filled the air, and a dripping sound was present.

Zach. Where was he?

He was no longer in the back seat, looking forward, I cringed at the sight.

The windshield was smashed out, and on the ground was Zach, who's face was swollen and purple.

"N-No!" I gurgled out, tears going down my cheeks. Even crying was painful.

"G-Grace."

Usnavi.

I turn my head, the headrest of my seat is gone, somewhere on the street.

There sits Jeffery, face pale. Blood lines his lips, yet he still smiles weakly.

"Usnavi!" I cry but it comes out as a whisper.

"Okay..I'm okay.." he mumbles on and on, eyes fluttering.

I try to move myself, a searing pain going through my leg.

I stifle a cry before continuing.

"Grace..Gracie."

He mumbles my name, adding in Angelica, Alex, Zach and even Abuela.

My eyes look down, I feel myself choke.

A shard of metal is pierced through the side of Jeffery, his hands gripping the reddened metal

"No! No!" I cry out, looking from him, to Zach, to Alex and then to Angelica.

How did this happen? How?

I feel my eyes begin to flutter shut, the darkness about to welcome me with open arms.

A voice. Muffled. Far.

"Hey, stay awake! Oh my god, we need more stretchers NOW!" a voice screams, their cold hands taking mine.
