Chapter 3

Lauren POV
Me and Juniper have been home for three days now and I am already exhausted. For the time being it will just be us until Emma and Ms. Nancy get here in about a week.

Juniper had just got done eating so I placed her on my lap, facing away from me, a hand on her supporting her neck while the other tapped her small back.

I smiled happily to myself when she let out a small burp. When she had finally burped I brought her close to my body and walked down the hallway to her room.

I quietly opened the door and slowly walked over to the wooden rocking chair that was set up in the corner of her small room and carefully sat down. She let out a small whimper so I whispered to her,"It's okay love, mommy's got you."

She seemed to have calmed down so I brought her onto my lap and cradled her as I softly rocked in the chair. She kept her green eyes on me until I decided to sing her a song softly.

As I was finishing the song, I saw that she was sound asleep in my arms with a slight smiled on her face. The song was perfect for my little love.

I slowly stood and walked to the other side of the room and placed her inside of her crib and turned one the monitor.

As I was walking out I decided to keep the door open just incase she started crying or woke up.

Since I had a little bit of time to myself, I decided to watch this TV show that I was going to be in. It was called The Walking Dead and I got the part of Maggie Greene.

I started off in the first episode of the first season and found myself enjoying it. I found it beautifully written to the point of where I fell in love with all of the characters.

I ended up getting through the first three episodes before I heard Juniper crying. I got up and turned the TV off the started walking down the hall to her room.

"Love you're okay, you don't need to cry." I whispered to her as I reached down and picked her up. I cradled her and swayed back and forth trying to calm her.
