Lauren POV
"What are you doing in my apartment Luke?" I spat back.

He raised his hand,"Look I'm just here to get our um, our baby." He paused for a moment before asking,"Babe we had a boy right?"

I narrowed my eyes at him,"You're drunk?"

He shrugged his shoulders,"N-no not really Babe."

"Get the fuck out." I pointed to the door behind me.

He put his head down and stumbled out the door. As soon as he passed me I smelt the whiskey basically pouring out of his pores. As soon as he was out the door I closed it and locked it before sighing,"Sorry that you had to hear that baby girl but don't worry Mommy loves you with all of her heart."

I sat on the couch and left all of the bags and car seat at the door. I sighed and placed a hand on her back and started rubbing it in gentle circular motions. I closed my eyes and smiled at the memory of when she was actually in there, growing and moving. It still baffles my mind thinking about how she could've fit in there.

She started squirming so I hushed her before getting up,"You're okay Juniper."

I walked down the hall and took the first right and entered her room. I walked over and sat on the rocking chair before undoing the buckles and resting her on one of my arms and using the other to take off the contraption.

By the time it was off I could hear Juniper starting to get upset and cry. Her cry was getting surprisingly louder as the time passed and it was starting to worry me because now I knew that I don't have a quiet baby.

I quickly started to feed her before she got too out of hand and it would take forever to calm her. "Shhh you're okay baby girl."

For the next ten minutes I just sat there gently rocking with my eyes closed listening to her gulping. I have no idea how long it had been until I realised that she had fallen asleep and was just clinging to my shirt.

I sighed and stood and walked over to her crib and gently sat her down. She started to whine at the loss of contact so I quickly gave her a pacifier while her eyes were still closed. I stood there and waited until I was sure that she was asleep.

I sighed in relief and smiled at her asleep with her hand in a fist beside her face. She has such a fair complexion that matches her chestnut brown hair, rosey cheeks and full lips perfectly. I had to admit it, my daughter is perfect and I couldn't ask for more.

I walked over towards the dresser that was in her room and turned on the baby monitor before slowly backing out of the room. I heald my breath and only let it out when I was sitting on the couch.

I thought for a moment before picking up my cellphone and dialing my sister number. It rang three times before someone picked up,"Hello?"

I immediately recognized the voice and spoke,"Alex go and give the phone to Emma okay?"

"Okay. Wait, who's this?" He asked causing me to chuckle.

"This is Lauren, Emma's sister hunny."

He giggled,"Oh yeah!" I heard shuffling on the other line before he called for her,"Emma your sister Lauren is on the phone!"

I couldn't make out what she said but I soon heard her voice boom on the other end,"Hey Lauren. How's my niece?"

"She's doing okay, you guys doing alright?" I asked and heald the phone between my shoulder and ear as I picked up a magazine.

"Yeah actually Josh moved in and he brought Alex with him." She beamed and I could practically hear her smile.

"That's good how's he settling in?" I questioned knowing that Alex is just six.
