It was the last day.

Everyone walked around campus sad. People talked to eachother, and joked and laughed, but it was obvious they were all a little upset. The weeper was tonight. No body was ready.

Getting ready for the weeper was the easiest thing Leah ever had to do. Put on sweatpants, take off her makeup, bring her lanyard, a pen, and tissues. All by herself, Leah walked into the hall where the weeper was being held. She stood, not knowing what to do, untill someone from behind her yelled "smol bean!" She turned around to see one of Colleen's friends, Tom, sitting on the floor. "I didn't know you that well," he said "but you give me life." He handed her a peice of his PCC 2016 lanyard. Leah smiled as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Thanks, Tom." "No problem. I'm gonna miss you smol bean." He pulled her into a hug. "Ms. Demaral wanted to talk to you, she's out side."

"Thanks." Leah walked out side, tears streaming down her cheeks. She saw Ms. Demaral, and sat down next to her. "Tom said you wanted to talk to me."

"Oh yeah, I had a speach and everything ready, but I don't think I'll be able to say it without crying, so I just wanted to say, I loved having you as an honerary member of my hall, and I'm gonna miss you a lot. And I wanted to give you this." She reached in her bag and pulled out her tye-dye proctor shirt. Leah began to cry more.

"Awww Ms. Demaraaaaaallll." She said and wrapped her arms around her as she began to cry. "Hey, we're friends." She said "call me Vanessa."

Leah got up and said "You better come back next year" and went to find Mack.

. . .

Brendon choked on his words as he tried to find the right things to say. "Josh, I- you've been an amazing roommate. The best roommate I could ever ask for, and my year wouldn't have been the same without you. You made me a better person." He began to tear up. Josh stared at the ground. "Josh?"

Josh suddenly threw his arms around Brendon aggressively and said through choked sobs "I'm gonna miss you, man. Life won't be the same without seeing you every day."

Brendon wrapped his arms around his emotional roommate. "I feel the same way. And Josh?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm always here for you. Just give me a call. I owe you that at least."

"Okay."

"And one more thing."

"Yeah?"

"You better fucking come back next year."

Josh gave no response but a tear landing on Brendon's shoulder and leaving a small puddle next to his neck. After that they let go of eachother. "I'm gonna miss you, man." Josh said, wipping tears from his eyes.

"I'm gonna miss you too, buddy." Brendon choked out. "Now get outta here before I start cying again.

. . .

The next morning, everyone was sad again. There was a small ceremony like thing held before all the kids left. The proctors brought around yarn and gave a peice of the line to everyone, then they cut it. Leah tied it around her wrist in a bow. The RA's said "When you take this off, you're ready to let PCC 2016 go." Leah vowed she wouldn't. She never wanted to let go of this summer.

She returned to her room, saying goodbye to people on the way. The person she said goodbye to last, was Cam. "I don't wanna see you go." He said.

"I know. But I have to." She slung her guitar over her shoulder.

Cam bit his lip, like he had something to say, but was too scared to. "Say what you wanna say Cam."

"I'm gonna miss you. And you and I both know this isn't goodbye."

Leah held out a fist for Cam to bump. He did, and stood there tears leaking from his eyes. Leah turned to leave but Can yelled "Leah, wait!" Leah stopped and turned around. Cam wrapped his arms around her, and she hugged him back bursting into tears. "I'm not saying goodbye, I'm never saying goodbye." Leah said into his shoulder. "Good," Cam said breaking the hug. "I don't want you to." And with that and teary eyes, Leah left Boland for the rest of 2016.

"See you next year." She muttered, when the car pulled out of the campus. Just one more year.
