After Bored to Death, Highspeed Highway played Creep, then August Rain retaliated with Wheels. Highspeed Highway came back strong with I Wanna Get Better, but August Rain hit them hard with Dignity. Highspeed Highway attempted to get their barrings with Like a Stone, but August Rain came on strong with Taxi Cab.
August Rain faltered a bit when Highspeed Highway played Part II, but when they played The (After) Life Of The Party, they began to come back. Leah sang the first verse without playing the guitar, but when the chorus kicked off, she strummed her heart out. When the chorus ended she stopped playing the guitar, but brought in stronger vocals. She brought in the guitar again with the second chorus, almost as strong as the vocals. When the bridge came in she decided even though she didn't do this in practice that if she belted it it would sound better, and it did. She let the last cord of the song ring out with the rest of the band. We he walked past Andy in the transitions she said. "I think we just topped your first song."
After The (After) Life Of The Party, Highspeed Highway played I've Got All This Ringing In My Ears And None On My Fingers, and Andy faltered a bit on his solos. His confidence was slowly going down and it was showing. After that August Rain played Better Strangers, which blew Mr. Miles away. Highspeed Highway played Hate Everyone which was pretty strong. August rain played Homesick at Space Camp, which was stronger.
Highspeed Highway came back strong with Sweater Weather, which sounded great, and Andy began to gain a bit of confidence back. Kyle sang this one and he sounded perfect for the song. Sweater Weather went smoothly, untill it ended.
When Sweater Weather was over August Rain came back out and played Use Somebody, which was surprisingly good. The songs played next were 15 Dreams (HH) London Thunder (AR) Breakeven (HH) Different Colors (AR) Chasing Cars (HH) and All I Wanted (AR). Eventually it came to the song Brendon had been dreading. Shiver.
