I came home all frustrated. How dare that girl speak to me like that? It felt like I m some theif or rapist or some killer who will harm her. But okay I get it girl she might be alone in house but how dare she make me felt bad Muslim, what would Khan thinking about me that I don't know my own religion

It was 8. I got freshen up headed towards my office room and started to complete the pending work of office. Time passed it was 12 of night, well it was normal. I can even work for hours if mom not come and drag me to my bed but as I m in Pakistan so no one is here to stop me from my work. As I continue my work, I got skype call. When I saw who it was, a smile appear on my face, well it was from mom

"Hey mom wassup" I said as I lifted the call

"Assalm o alaiqum son. How many times should I tell you we greet as Assalam o alaiqum?" She scolded me

"Sorry mom and Walaiqum Assalam" I said and she smiled

"Anyways tell me did you find a bride for you?" She asked excitedly

"Well mom your husband is so cunning he sent me here where there is endless work, so that I become busy and cannot find a girl for me and at last agree on your choice" I said blaming dad and escaping from this topic

"I heard someone complaining about me" I heard dad's voice

"What wrong my son saying, I told you that I want my son normal and you are making him more and more workaholic" Mom complained, while I smirked

"You naughty man you turned your mom on me and wants to escape from this marriage topic" Dad said and I smiled being caught

"Well son what were you doing?" mom asked seriously

God this is the question I wanted to escape because if mom gets to know that its 1 in night and I m working then I have to listen her never ending scolding

"Umm working mom" I nervously answered

"As expected, see Sajaad that's why I m forcing him to get married, I want to see him normal"

"Well mom I m normal"

"Really!! Shayaan, you start working from early morning and end up in midnight is not at all normal. Only those do who are robots. I don't want my son to be robot"

She said totally pissed off

"At least robots don't have feeling they don't feel pain" I whispered which I guess mom heard

"If pain are shared they can be suppressed" mom said. Well there was a moment of silence

"Shayaan you look pissed off already anything happened" mom asked

"Nothing just an irritating girl" I said with a lot of irritation the moment I recalled that scene

"Why what happened" mom asked. I told her what happened today

"Shayaan Ahmed how dare you talk a girl like this. I thought I raised you better" mom yelled again

"Please not again I understand that was foolish thing from my part but how dare she make me feel like bad Muslim or a jerk who don't know anything about his religion. You know Khan explained me those terms God that was so embarrassing" I said sighing

"This happen when you bunk your Islamiat classes. Well I m impressed the thing I couldn't do in twenty years she did in twenty minutes wow impressive. That girl is something then" mom said smirking

"Really what did she exactly do?" I asked bit annoyed

"Make you realize that you are Muslim and not good one as well" she said smiling at me

"Whatever but I want to ask you something what type of life partner should be, complete like you or complete opposite"

"Opposite"

"Why"

"Well if a life partner will be complete like you then there will no excitement to know each other, it would be same everyday but if your life partner is complete opposite then you will get to know a new thing about each other everyday" She explained me

"Okay mom now you also rest" I said yawning

"It's noon here. You rest and go to sleep" she said and disconnected the call.

I thought about mom's word and the whole scene of today came to my mind. I picked my cell and dialed

"I want every single detail of Mr. Rehan Shah, personal and professional, gather everything, mind it not a single thing should be missed, understand?" I said 

I heard okay from other side
