"Home sweet home." Zach says and sets the bag on the counter.
"How was it?" Kacy asks with Tyler on her hip.
"Great." I smile and answer her but quickly walk over to Tyler and gently wrap my arms around him. "Hey baby." I say in a baby voice while Kacy laughs.
"I've got a plane to catch bye Holly." Kacy says before she hugs me then turns to Zach. "You did good soldier." She jokes and hugs him around the neck too. "I'm calling you tomorrow." Kacy yells out the door.
"I'm glad we are home." I smile and kiss Tyler on the head. "Cause I've missed my baby."
"Your adorable." Zach laughs and hugs me sideways to avoid breaking Tyler. "It's late do you want me to put Tyler in his crib?"
"Yeah sure. I'm going to go shower I feel like plane germs."

"He's down. Do you want to watch some TV?" Zach asks and sits beside of me on the couch in old sweats and a tight shirt.
"Sure." I shrug and scoot in closer to him. "I love Tyler." I say out of nowhere.
"I know you do." Zach says but his voice wonders why I say so.
"No, j mean like I-would-jump-in-front-of-a-bullet type love." I correct.
"I know."
"I knew what is was like growing up alone. Especially with my mom. It was horrible and I would've done anything to have someone else with me. I knew that at seven. Being an only child sucked. I don't want to do that to any kid." I shake my head.
"What are you saying?" Zach asks raising his eyebrow.
"I want a baby girl." I whisper. "not now but eventually. I want someone I can braid their hair, take to dance classes— unless that's not what you want." I stop myself.
"Holly." Zach says slowly then just leans down and kisses me unexpectedly. "How do you expect me not to love you?"
I laugh a little bit and lean my head into his shoulder.
"So a maybe?" I ask.
"Whatever you want." Zach says. He seems so thrilled and excited but I'm just scared. I have an unlikely chance of getting pregnant never the less being able to carry out a pregnancy.
I close my eyes and feel Zach's arm around me.
"I love you." I whisper and in return I feel Zach's lips on the side of my head forming in a smile.
"Love you too."
