I was at a Vogue shoot and of course the last bit of the interview was dedicated to my personal life. I honestly couldn't believe it had been almost a year since Roman and I got married in Barbados.

I laughed, "Y'all didn't think it would happen! No, my grangran Dolly always used to say that everything falls into place in the end. You go through them struggles, but a strong woman always ends up on top. My life has been filled with darkness and light, more so darkness, which could be heard through my music. And then Roman came and it was the light shining bright. I had bought a ticket for my brother because he loved the show. I tagged along and it was after the show when Roman was walking around, signing posters and whatever. My brother calls him over and we just hit it off I guess.."
