Pink- the color of uncertainty, it is normally a sign of a budding interest or relationship
In every movie, right when they meet the special someone they know it. It's always right in the beginning when they announce their love and affection for each other. Life isn't like that.
When I met him, I hated him.
Then again I hated everybody at the time.
But I especially hated him. With his pastel turtle necks that I came to love, and his silly mood rings. Before I met him, I thought he was ridiculous. But looking back it was me who was ridiculous. When we first officially met, it was all because of his clumsiness.
I was standing at my locker, secretly looking at my new pierced lip in the mirror of my locker.
All of a sudden I felt a body collide with me, the thud of books making my ears hurt. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" He panicked, trying to pick up the books before I could get a hand on them."Watch wh, it's alright." I decided against embarrassing the kid. His glasses were crooked on his face and his lips were quivering the slightest.
It almost made me laugh at how scared he seemed standing next to me.
"Calm down." I laughed, helping him with the books.
"You're Kyle right?" I asked him, making him nod slightly.
"And you're Dan Smith?" He asked, avoiding eye contact.
The longer I looked at him, the less I hated him. His light yellow sweater that I normally despised, I was starting to find adorable. His mood rings were actually pretty wicked, a light pink color on the band.
"You got it." I chuckled at the adorable boy.
"I uhh should be getting to class now. Nice meeting you." He hurried, and ran in the other direction of the hallway.---
