Dear close friends,

Let me get this straight. I always say that I don't have a best friend. And that's true. No best friend... But I do have close friends. Note how it's close friends, not just one. If we wanna be specific, I'd have to say I have four closest friends, two girls and two guys. Hannah, Stacy, Ethan, and Chase.

First off, Hannah... I have known you ever since the first grade. And it's amazing that you've stuck with me ever since then, even though you have a million reasons to leave. I know I can be such a jerk, and I know it drives you nuts if I talk about a certain guy non-stop, and I'm sorry. But you're so forgiving and kind. So thank you. Also, it just amazes me that we've been almost inseparable since 2004. You're an amazing writer, actress, you're so intelligent, mature.... There are so many qualities that you have, that I wish every person in the world did, especially myself. So please, keep being the amazing you, and never change for anyone.

Stacy... I have also known you ever since the first grade! But we never really talked until last year. Anyway, I'm sure you've heard this story a million times, so I'm just going to go on now. Oh Stacy, you are such a great person. Forgiving, kind, loyal, persistent... There are just too many traits for me too name! But one thing I'm so glad about is that I have someone that I can just rant to without being judged (harshly xD). Plus, you don't just listen to me rant and shrug it off... No! You help me through it. And you really have gotten me through quite a few rough times. So thanks a lot for that- Or, well. For everything, really.

Ethan... We've had a bit of a rough past, that I don't really want to go back to... No offense. But even though I don't say it a lot, and definitely don't act like it, I love you like a brother. Well, I love my actual brother more than you, but that's not the point! Yeah, I call you an idiot and stuff, but really, you're one of the smartest people I've ever met, even if you are a bit oblivious. But what amazes me most about you is that you don't even seem to care much about what people think of you. Truth be told, in first hour, I've heard people call you a nerd, and they really mean it. But you... You don't even care. And that, sir, is awesome. So please... Keep being awesome!

Chase... Actually, Chaseycakers. I think that that sounds much better. That or Codesters. Anyway, I'm sorry for being so "split personality"-ish on you. Haha, I know, that bugs you a lot, but I can't help it! That's the Katie way! I have to be like, "Oh I hate you" one second, then "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" the next! Oh, and I'm not sorry for calling you Chaseycakers, by the way. That is your name after all, hurrr hurr. That or Codesters. Or DANIEL! YES! I LIKE DANIEL! Okay, anyway, let me stop ranting about names and crap, and let me just tell you that you are absolutely hilarious, you're some genius child, and I love you to death you poor puppy that's been left to soak in the rain. Okay? Okay. Don't stop being a Chase, or else I'll die due to misery.

I can't imagine life without you four- or life without any of my friends for that matter. I hope that we all can stay together for the rest of our lives, or at least the rest of our school days. Please, keep being your awesome selves, and never ever change for anyone at all.
