(A/N: I'm doing this because I'm bored, okay? Okay.)
My short blue hair flows in the wind, as I swing on the swing on my porch. My crystal blue eyes stay focused on the way the plants slowly swayed in the wind.
I'm visiting my aunt, who lives on a farm, or near a farm, which gives me the view of the plants. I enjoy visiting, because it's so peaceful, and quiet.
I turn to my left, as I hear foot steps approaching. I saw a boy with messy black short hair, and a light brown eyes color.
He walks up to me, and asks, "May I sit?" He said gesturing to the empty space next to me. I nodded, and he sat next to me. He leaned his head back, and closed his eyes. I could hear his steady breathing, slow, and paced perfectly.
I look away from him and continue to stare off.
"My name is Jason." He said quietly. He lifts his head up and looks at me. "What's your name?" He asks, smiling.
I was shocked by this sudden new converstaion. I smiled back, and said softly, "My name is Emma..." I giggle as I finish, still with a smile. I look at him into his eyes, and he's smiling with his eyes on a way.
"Nice to meet you Emma! Glad to meet you!" He put out his hand for me to shake. He had a friendly face, which I couldn't resist.
I swung my arm out and grabbed onto his hand, beginning to shake it. "You too Jason~!"
We both departed hamds, but remained the eye contact. Then I decided to continue our talking.
"Why did you walk up to me anyways?" I asked him as I continue to look into his eyes.
"Huh?" He shakes his head and slightly blushes, laughing softly. "O-oh, I just saw you, and you seemed to seem so lonely. I wanted to give you some company, you know?" I smirk as he speaks, and I nod my head.
"Mhm, I was totally lonely. Glad a stranger walked up to me." I said sarcastically, still with a dumb smirk.
(A/N: *Cough* Ref in coming, know it, and you get a high five-)
"You should smile more often. Or, smile when thinking about the future. You'll imagine your future, within a day, maybe a few years. Think about it, and laugh. Why don't you try it now?" Jason says as he continues to smile and stare into my eyes. His eyes seemed to shine brighter as he spoke.
I blush slightly and nod my head. I close my eyes and imagine something.
I imagine him and I, sitting in the same swing. We are talking, but sitting closer than now. I'm blushing, and so is he. I hug him tightly, him laughing nervously.
I begin to laugh, as I imagine more, and more. I open my eyes to see Jason smiling at me, as he watches me laugh. He then places his hand on my cheek. I stare in shock and my face heats up.
"She's so cute when she laughs." I hear him mumble quietly. My face heats up even more, I quickly turn and laugh even more when my back is turned to him. I cover my mouth gently as I giggle, and he suddenly places his hand on my back. I stop giggling and my eyes slightly widen, looking behind me to see him smiling still. "I need to head out now, I'll see you later?"
I nod my head and smile back. "Of course!"
A Y E A R L A T E R-
I sit down on the swing. I take a deep breath and close my eyes. I then notice someone sits next to me. It's been a year since someone last sat next to me on this swing. I remember that boy he sat next to me that one day, he never returned.
I open my eyes and turn my head towards him. I stare into the familiar brown eyes. "Emma, right?" He asks me, looking deeply into my eyes. I slowly nod my head.
"J-Jason?" I almost began to tear up, I didn't want to, but I felt a lump in my throat. He nods. A tear rolls nod my cheek and I close my eyes. "Why did you never come back. You abandoned me here, I waited for you! You never came back..." I open my eyes and glare at him. "You left me alone! Why?" I mumble my last word, as I felt like my heart has been shattered.
Sure, I rarely even knew him, but he made my heart flutter, plus, he reminded me of an old childhood bestie!
His eyes shake, shocked. He then frowns and wipes the tears streaming down my face. "Emma, I wanted to, trust me. I just never was allowed to. My mother, she's strict about letting me go out. Then, I was so busy with school, I had no time to socialize. I'll be honest... You remind me of someone I used to know, but we all know that you'll never be them. Reality doesn't work like that." He shook his head, then looked down.
"I..." I took a deep breath, I hurt his feelings, yet he still never showed up. "I understand. What friend, tell me about them, that is, if you're willing to-"
"H-huh? Sure... She had long blue hair, eyes that were just as beautiful as yours. She used to always wear a bow in her hair, convinced she was so 'kawaii' and such. I admired her for that. We were close friends, we told each other's secrets, we were just good friends in general, and there's no other way to express how glad I am to have been her friend..."
I give a smile small while staring into his eyes. "Really? I... I used to always wear bows! I would always tell everyone I knew that I was so cute and kawaii!" I stop talking, then breathing. He was the kid from my blurry childhood. He was the one who made me smile. "Jason..." I whisper, as I turn my head to him. "I'm her, I figured it out... I'm Emma, the Emma who always wore bows, I still have them!" I stop once more. I left him, I did. I went away, and to never return. I left him alone here, without me, and him loosing a friend he apparently cared about.
(A/N: I gave up on this, so uh, here is it so far. Yaaay~!)
