"It's fine. Just go with your original plan."
Kyoko is completely unaware of the plan Sasuke has. Surely somewhere in her heart she trusts this man with her life. Doing something like that could be risky. It could get someone killed.
I continued exploring the library and running my fingers over each book shelf. There was a lot of dust and I made sure I would clean it all the following day.
"Let's sleep." Suggested Sasuke-Kun
"Where?"
"The bed." He said pointing back.
"I'm not sleeping there. That thing is so old and could've been a death bed." I shivered in fear at the thought.
"The couch?"
I shrugged my shoulders.
"I guess I'll take the couch. Sleep comfortably on the bed." I said teasingly.
"I don't plan on sleeping alone. Wherever you sleep, I'll be sleeping beside you."
I pinched his cheeks in joy at his words that made my heart melt.
"You're so cute." I squealed.
He smiled into the cheek pinching and held me by the waist. He pouted his lips for a kiss. I softly placed it and turned around to run straight out the room. I opened the door to another room we hadn't checked, to hide from him. The room was pitch black, not even the moon's glow could illuminate it. I heard his footsteps in the hallway, making their way to me.
I ran, to the best of my ability, to a corner of the room. The door slowly creaked open and the light from the candle Sasuke-Kun held barely illuminated the room.
"Kyoko where are you?" He sang in question.
His steps began to approach me slowly as I sunk more into my location. Suddenly there was a loud bang downstairs.
"So you're downstairs." He whispered to himself.
I stood up in fear someone had entered and would end up hurting him because of me.
"Sasuke-Kun I'm right here."
He turned to me and slightly lifted the candle so the light illuminated my face, in verification it truly was me.
"Who's downstairs?" He asked.
"I don't know."
He began walking toward the stairs, but I held onto his arm.
"What if it's the person from before? They'll hurt you." I said in worry.
He shook my hand off and ignored my worry as he walked down the stairs. I paced around the room ready to run down if I needed to. I was impatient and decided to go downstairs to check on him for myself. The front door was wide open and Sasuke-Kun was nowhere to be seen.
I stepped out the door and held the cloak onto my body tighter as I tried to look through the snowstorm for any sign of him.
"Sasuke-Kun! Where are you?!" I shouted into the wind. I only received the winds howl in response.
I saw a figure approaching with difficulty, bracing themselves to not be knocked down by the wind. I squinted my eyes hoping to magnify their image, but accomplished nothing. The person got closer and at that moment I realized it was Sasuke-Kun.
He held a black kitten he covered for warmth. He entered without saying a word and shivered. I removed my cloak and placed it over his shoulders. I left the room to search for anything that could warm us up. I found nothing, but discovered the library had a fireplace. I entered the room I had been hiding in and found stacks of wood along with other items.
I carried some wood into the neighboring room and tossed them into the fireplace. I lit a match from the matchbox Sasuke-Kun had given me much earlier and was disappointed to see it did no effect on the wood. I searched for anything that would burn, avoiding the books I hoped to read, and thankfully found blank sheets of paper. I lit the paper and tossed them into the fireplace successfully lighting the wood.
The fire now illuminated the entire room and warmed it. I walked down the stairs, shivering at the coldness there. I stretched out my arms for Sasuke-Kun to place the kitten in them. Once he did it began squirming, hoping to be returned to Sasuke-Kun. I lifted it, facing me.
"Don't be mean kitty I want to hold you. I promise I'll warm you up." I pouted.
"Why don't you warm me up?"
"I already gave you my cloak." I informed. "Anyway I made a fire upstairs. It's much warmer there. Let's head up."
He followed closely behind me as I held the kitten to my chest, petting it lovingly. The change in temperatures was very noticeable once we entered the room. Sasuke-Kun sighed in satisfaction and approached the fire to hover his hands near it. I looked at the kitten in arms as it intently observed the fire.
"Hey babe, could you place the enclosure in front of the fire? I think this little kitty wants to look at it."
Sasuke-Kun did as asked and I placed the kitten on the floor. It slowly approached the fire and and sat in front of it, to later curl up in its place.
Sasuke-Kun walked toward me and sat on the nearby couch, pulling me onto his lap. He held me close to him and kissed my cheek. He removed my cloak from himself and placed it over me like a blanket.
"Thanks." He said.
I nodded in answer.
"He was the cause of the loud bang. It seems he tried entering to shield himself from the snowstorm, but he knocked down a pot scaring himself and running off. He seemed cold so I followed him until he stopped and carried him back here." Sasuke-Kun said, referring to the kitten.
"I was scared someone had taken you and hurt you, you know? I thought I was going to be left alone."
He chuckled and pulled me closer to himself, placing his chin on top of my head.
"I wouldn't dream of leaving you alone."
I slowly drifted into a deep sleep after hearing those reassuring words. The following day I woke up to feel something furry on my arm. There were also cute meows coming from the furry ball. I opened my eyes to find myself on my side with my left leg placed over Sasuke-Kun, who laid peacefully on his side. The cute kitten stood over my left hand intently looking at me. He meowed once more and I moved out of Sasuke-Kun's embrace, as slowly as I could, and held the kitten.
"What is it cutie? You hungry?"

Dream:
Kyoko lay in bed with me as we enjoyed the peacefulness we hadn't received in a while. I was always on missions and she was busy running around taking care of our child, making sure he ate well and behaved at my parent's home when she had to leave for missions of her own. She hardly has any sleep and as much as I wish to help her around I'm hardly ever home.
Through my light sleep I heard the door to our room creak open and I felt Kyoko shift beside me.
"What is it cutie? You hungry?" She asked softly.
I heard a little voice mutter "Mhm" in response and I felt her get off the bed.
"What does my little Prince want?"
"Pancakes!" Cheered our son.
I shifted in my position and slowly began opening my eyes. I realized I had been dreaming and searched for Kyoko.
Maybe some day we'll have a family of our own.
