Time was proving to be moving fast. All the passing teams were now on their elimination stage. They were to battle each other to have less participants.
Ochi-Sama wasn't caring about the teams wins considering he specified only one team of each of our groups make it to this point.
"Don't you think it's embarrassing Senpai? We are left with only six of our students, mine are still better though. Ah all the training I put them through, they seemed to take it like the scoldings I give them. 'In one ear, out the other.' I am going to make their lives miserable when we return."
Ochi-Sama only grunted in 'disappointment'.
Each student was called up by name to go against another. The first one was the Uchiha. Ochi-Sama smirked when he noticed him handling his curse mark well. It was no surprise he turned out victorious in the end.
Once his match was over Kakashi discreetly took him somewhere else. Ochi-Sama gave me a knowing look and I nodded my head in understanding. He is going to follow to make sure the curse mark isn't fully removed.
The elimination exams soon ended and I remained with two students who passed. By that time Ochi-Sama had returned.
"Ha, Senpai! I told you my students were better!" I informed him smugly.
He ignored me and I just laughed, as we walked out of the exam area.
Ochi-Sama and I headed back to the hideout where he informed me he had been successful in making sure to keep the curse mark on the Uchiha intact.
"He handled it pretty well from my observation in the elimination rounds." I stated.
"Yes he did. It won't be long before he joins us."
A day before the final stage to our plan Ochi-Sama killed the Kazekage and took over his body. The following day he prohibited for me to join him.
"Kyoko, this is my revenge and I don't wish for it to burden you in the future. I am sending you off to check on the experiments. Once you arrive to the location Karin is at, you are to stay for 3 years."
"Ochi-Sama, why are you sending me away for 3 years? Karin doesn't need any protection out there. She'd sense the enemy from miles away, but to top it off she's in middle of nowhere."
"Are you trying to defy my command!? This is the first time and I really don't appreciate it?!"
I huffed in annoyance and rubbed at my face.
"Fine whatever." I replied while throwing my hands up in defeat and walking away in annoyance.
"Kyoko!" He shouted, but I ignored.
I went to my room and packed my clothes.
"Is Ochi-Sama trying to replace me? I've been with him for 6 years already, that isn't fair." I whispered to myself as I threw my clothes into my bag in anger.
I walked out of my room and past Ochi-Sama without sparing him a second glance.
"Kyoko..." he called out, but I ignored. "...Kyoko, darling, I'm not trying to replace you. Just like always I'm doing what's best for you."
"Yeah because pushing me away from the only shelter I have is best for me."
He remained silent.
"See you in 3 years." I whispered.
I had never felt the way I feel this very moment. I feel like a burden, unwanted.
If I really was so special to him why is he making me leave? Does he believe I've changed? Have I changed?
