Chapter 31: I want to change

As if it was all a dream, she woke up. She wasn't dead. No one was. The only sign of Pain's attack was the destroyed village around them.

She was trying to leave unnoticed but she couldn't even move. Konoha Shinobi began to go around, aiding their villagers when they ended up coming across her. She was taken into custody, to an interrogation room.

"Explain what you're doing here." Came a man's voice.

She wouldn't comply, figuring that her words would hold no credibility to the interrogator.

"Speak now, or I will have to force it from you."

She clicked her tongue as she turned her head away from him.

"Even if I did explain, what good would my words be to your judgement?"

The man laughed before slamming his palms against the chair she was tied to.

"Give me a try."

Kyoko held her lips shut, angering the man.

"I have no time for you to act like a child!" He yelled, losing it completely, "Our village just suffered a disastrous attack we have to recover from! I need to know where the rest of your people are!"

He kicked his interrogation chair across the room as he paced around her.

"They aren't my people." Kyoko corrected. "I have no affiliation with them."

"Then explain how you got here!"

"I was forced to...by them. I was kidnapped and interrogated. When I didn't respond I was beaten to the extent in which I lost all of my memories. They used that to feed lies to me. Lies I considered truths."

"Your words aren't credible when you have nothing to prove them," He stated, "If you were truly interrogated you'd have scars like mine."

"I told you, you wouldn't believe me." She laughed as she turned her head to the side, revealing the scar hidden from everyone.

"Scars never leave, they stay to remind you of your stupidity." She spat to him. "Keeping quiet for others is your own stupidity."

The man stared at the left side of her face that had been covered by her hair. A scar covers her eyelid alike a silver haired shinobi he knows.

The ripped material of her shirt reveals more scars that decorate her body.

Anger filled her as she cursed at herself for being weak.

The man left the room after pushing himself away from her chair. He turned off the only light that emitted above her, leaving her in absolute darkness.

Konoha was in the worst condition it has ever been in. Their Hokage is unresponsive, pushing the elders to make a critical decision.

They summoned all of the Kages to a meeting in which they will assign someone to take up the duty of Hokage.

Sasuke's old teammates are headed in the direction of this meeting as well as Sasuke himself. He seeks the death of a man who is present in the summit. A man responsible for all the atrocities that occurred to the Uchiha.

Sasuke confronts the man who made the Uchiha clan suffer. He witnesses when that man named Danzo reveals the disgusting human being he is.

Sasuke takes the revenge surely Itachi himself would've enjoyed.

A fight among Sasuke and his old teammates breaks out. Sakura moves toward him, willing to assassinate him so that Naruto doesn't dirty his title by bringing him back.
