Sasuke and the team had taken refuge in the home him and Kyoko had previously discovered after he repeatedly refused going with Zetsu.

He explained to everyone how critical it is that they remain silent about Itachi.

He was really unsettled as he paced around the room. I could only watch from afar as he paid no real attention to whatever I had to say.

I wasn't as calm either as I was uncertain of what would happen now. After Itachi-san had spoken of his motives, Sasuke-kun's actions could be unpredictable.

"What are your plans with Konoha?" I asked from the doorway of our bedroom.

"I don't know right now. I don't know what to think." He sighed, "I'll discuss that with him when we meet up."

I nodded my head in understanding as he sat on the bed.

"Come here." He called to me as he opened his arms out.

I walked to him where he wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head against my stomach.

"I don't want you to be mad by my next request but listen to it until the end."

I remained silent as he proceeded.

"When I go to Itachi, I want you to stay here. I'm taking everyone but I want you to stay here."

I was getting angered.

"Why do you want me to stay by myself?"

"I don't want to expose you to anything dangerous. This place is hidden so I don't think it'll be easy to find you. I want you to just stay safe."

He looked up at me with pleading eyes.

"No, I don't want to stay by myself."

He sighed, "Baby, I don't want you to get hurt."

"What, am I incompetent now? You think I'm weak?"

"No," he sighed as I was on an angered rant, "I want you here," he raised his voice to talk over me, "All of your chakra was used up when you separated Itachi and I. I know you can barely manage to move so don't lie to me."

I sighed as he held me tighter. He leaned back on the bed, leading for me to lay over him. He kissed my forehead and rubbed the back of my head soothingly.

The group was preparing to meet up with Itachi-san. I watched Sasuke-kun from my position on the bed with angered eyes at the idea of having to be here by myself.

He ignored it and kissed my forehead before leaving the room. The house went silent, indicating they had already left.

I laid back down onto the bed and gazed at the ceiling.

After a while, I stood up and walked toward the library that was in the neighboring room. The house was cold therefore I had a blanket to cover my bare legs.

As I sat on the sofa, reading a book I had picked off the shelf, a bang came from downstairs. I was moving to get up, wondering if Sasuke-kun had possibly returned for something he forgotten, when the door to the library was kicked open.

I stood in fear at the sight of the person in front of me. I began to back away as I searched for a form of defense. Before I could find anything, green like rods sprung out at me.

The half black half white figure pulled itself to me where its face was inches away from my own. Their hand reached up to my face where it held it, squishing my cheeks together as it turned my face from side to side.

I tried to pry him off me, but the more I moved the tighter the rods became.

"Stop moving." He chuckled.

"Zetsu, you have her?!" Called a voice from downstairs.

The figure turned his attention to the approaching one, therefore he was distracted. As he was responding positively, I pulled away with all my strength and released myself from his grip.

I attempted to attack with a jutsu but realized that my chakra was still very low. I simply tried to attack him with taijutsu but he dodged every move.

I landed a few hits on him before he used the unfair advantage he had in making hand signs for a jutsu.

I interrupted his hand signs with a kick directly to his hands as I back flipped away.

Sasuke's shirt flowed back down over my body once I had landed back onto my feet.

I continued pushing away when the other person made their presence known through a fireball jutsu they attacked me with. I was so focused on the first person, I had forgotten about the other.

The Zetsu person wasted no time in putting me under the previous restraint in which the other male hit the side of my temple, making me black out entirely.

Sasuke thought that leaving Kyoko alone would be safer, unaware of the person who had been after him for a while already.

She was carried away as the group moved back to the home Kyoko had been left in.

The two kidnappers quickly left after leaving a message for Sasuke.

The group entered the household where Sasuke called for Kyoko, after finding it strange that she hadn't come down to receive him as usual.

"Sasuke!" Called Itachi after said male had gone upstairs in search of Kyoko.

He came back into view where he was met with Itachi's concerned facial expression. He held out a paper to Sasuke as the latter quickly moved to read it.

Due to your disobedience in joining us, we have taken what is most precious to you. It is now your own choice in joining us if you don't wish to receive the decapitated head of your lover.

Sasuke looked up in absolute anger, after reading the letter. His blood boiled as he clenched the paper in hands.

"Those people you told us to watch out for, where can we find them?" He asked through gritted teeth and evident anger.

"Kisame told me he would be a spy from within, I will ask him but for now I suggest we don't act irrationally. We need to think clearly and make a plan."

Sasuke felt uneasy at his brother's suggestion but knew he should and could trust him. He knows his brother is aware of how much the woman at sake means to him therefore he feels assurance knowing he won't let anything bad happen to her.

I woke up in a location engulfed in darkness, chained to the floor. I began to thrash around on in hopes of somehow releasing myself.

I stopped after realizing that the tugging would only exhaust me. As of now all I can do is wait for my chakra to recover entirely.

A figure entered the room and inspected the chains, tightening them further as if they weren't tight enough already. I wouldn't receive any answers to whatever questions I made.

I clenched my teeth in anger as the figure walked back out of the room.

Days had passed and there was no trace nor sign of anyone else. The figure that entered the first time didn't enter again. Kyoko sat in anguish, hoping to get out soon.
