It's Okey, You're Here With Me

Chapter One

Pain.

It was all I could feel when my parents had sold me off in order to pay for the family debt.

Pain.

It was the only thing that I could see when I saw all those people being experimented on in different rooms with different conditions.

Pain.

It was the only thing that I could hear as I passed through those rooms that wouldn't stop their endless torture until the sun went down.

Pain.

It was also the only thing I have felt almost everyday, under those tight restraints, with those long needles poking at me almost non-stop. And the experiments, it was hell.

On the same day I had sent a S.O.S message using one of the computers when no one was looking , that I knew I was gonna die in one of the most horrifying part of Earth in one of the experiments they have prepared for me, on my birthday too, did I feel something that I have never felt for so long............

Relieve...... At seeing armed people using black armoury suddenly came charging in and catching those..... monsters.

Relieve.... As a few people were saying sweet nothings into my ears and struggling to release my restraints.

As my eyes slowly shut, I actually felt something warm inside me burst through my chest when I saw him.

It was...... Believe it or not.. Happiness.

For the past few years, Seoul Police Department has been tracking down a group of kidnappers that have been kidnapping almost anyone that they can catch. From what their sources told them, those kidnappers' sold their victims to people who viewed humans as subjects for their own horrible experiments.

"If it weren't for someone who sent out that S.O.S message, we wouldn't have found this place in like forever."

Detective Dong Youngbae said as he glared at the criminals that are now being tied up and brought out from their hiding sanctuary.

"Well, it was under a normal-looking residential area. It would be a miracle to find a place this well-hiddden."

Officer Seungri said as he looked at some of the test subjects that were in there and couldn't help but gag.

"WTF!! Do they even have any consideration?? Look at the things thay had done to them!!"

"(Sigh)"

Youngbae also looked at the disfigured humans in there and made the sign of the cross and prayed so that the souls may reach heaven swiftly.

As the two made their way out of their way of that horrible place, Seungri couldn't help but took interest at a teenage boy who had cat ears and tail on his body. The boy's cat ears were as white as his hair and his slim-to-the-bone figure made Seungri feel pity for that young boy.

"Seungri, go follow the guys to the hospital and check on those guys. I'll wrap things up here as soon as I can. And please report back to Ji Yong this time."

"I'll try to keep that in mind."

Seungri threw a naughty grin at his hyung which made the other roll his eyes at his dongsaeng's action. Seungri than hopped on to the ambulance where the neko boy was. Seungri stayed quiet as the doctor on board checked on the human hybrid on the bed.

"How's he, doctor??"

"Oh my.... this kid have more broken bones among all the patients I have ever seen!! The cuts around his arms and legs have not been treated properly and are probably infected. He has a few broken ribs judging by the red marks on his back. I'm surprised  that this kid is still alive. "

"How about those??"

Seungri pointed at the cat ears on top of the boy's head.

"We don't know how could a human have this...this kind of parts but I'll explain more when we reach the hospital."

The entire ride was silent after that as the doctor continued checking on the boy while Seungri was in deep thought. As the ambulance came to a stop at the hospital's entrance, Seungri swiftly unlocked the door of the ambulance and made way for the nurses to get the boy into the hospital.
Looking at the amount of hospital beds being pushed from one end to the other almost made Seungri dizzy. As he sat on one of the seats, he waited for Youngbae and the head of the Seoul Police Department, Commissioner Yang Hyun Suk to arrive.

Sure enough, the sound of sirens could be heard from a distance and Seungri immediately stood by the hospital main entrance. Seeing Youngbae exiting the car with Commissioner Yang, Seungri bowed as the commissioner walked towards him.

"Report."

"De. Out of the 100 test subjects, only five manage to survive. Three girls and two boys. Most of them were approximately fourteen to twenty one years old. I'll run those fingerprints test as soon as they're okey. "

Yang Hyun Suk nodded as he scribbled the notes down. He expression was stern as he thought about Seungri's report.

"Officer Seungri, from today onwards, you are to be deprived of any field duty. Your prime objective now is to care for one out of five of the survivors until he pr she heals. Until than, you can decide if you want to keep him or her under your care."

After saying this, Commissioner Yang than gave Youngbae a file before leaving the place. Seungri was speechless as the commissioner's words kept ringing in his ear.

"What?!!! No field duty!! My life is officially over!!"

Seungri half screamed as he kick his foot in the air in frustration. Youngbae only sighed at his dongsaeng as he opened the file that Commissioner Yang had given to him earlier and his eyes went wide open as he looked onto the contents.

"What the.... This isn't the hospital paperwork, its unfinished mission reports!!"

Hearing those words, Seungri and Youngbae mentally fainted and cursed their leader under their breath.  Somewhere, along the roads of Seoul, a chuckle erupted from the backseat of a certain police van.
