Chapter Nineteen

It was already late noon when Ji Yong finally coaxed Mino to go down and have some light meal.

"Dami noona!"

Only silence replied Ji Yong's call. On the dining table, Ji Yong found a sticky note attached to a bowl of warm fish porridge. Ji Yong picked up the sticky note while grabbing a spoon from the counter.

Yongie, I'll be gone for a few days to Busan to check on the new shop I just opened there. Be back in a few days. I have stocked up for a week's worth so you wouldn't need to go grocery shopping. Take a few days leave from work, you'll be needing it.

Ji Yong smiled as he placed the sticky note on the fridge.

"Mino, noona prepared some porridge for you. You want some?"

"Sure, hyung."

Ji Yong took out a tray and placed the bowl of porridge and a spoon before setting out to the living room, where Mino was sitting on one of the sofas, burying himself under his comforter to block out the cold as he sneezed.

"Aigoo, you caught the cold, Mino-yah."

Ji Yong said as he touched Mino's forehead with the back of his hand, frowning when the temperature was higher than normal.

"Eat. I'll give you some meds later."

Ji Yong said softly as he fed Mino with care. With the porridge finished, Ji Yong went to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water with a pill in one hand.

'Ding dong'

The sound of the doorbell made Ji Yong turn to look at the door. Looking through the door's peephole, only to find Bobby, the junior police officer under Seungri waiting outside the door.

"Good evening, Ji Yong sunbaenim!"

Bobby immediately bowed when the door opened to reveal Ji Yong, with his arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the doorframe.

"Evening. You're here to see Mino, am I right??"

Knowing he got caught, Bobby grinned shyly and scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Well, Mino hyung hasn't come to the academy for two days.. I thought he was sick or something.. So I brought some meds along to check on him."

Bobby said as he held up the bag of plastic which was full of medicine. Ji Yong smiled softly at Bobby and let him in.

"Hey, Mino hyung."

"Bobby?"

Mino popped his head out from the covers, and smiled weakly at Bobby who smiled back.

"Are you okey, hyung?? Binnie and the others were worried about you."

"I got the flu. Tell them to not worry too much and I'll be back in a few days. Hopefully I'll be well enough to try Donghyuk's new recipe."

"Ermm, surprise??"

Mino's eyes widened when he saw Bobby grinning widely as he held up a container which labeled 'Hyuk's new recipe. Only for Mino hyung!'.

"Oh my god, you gotta let me try that!"

"Anni, hyung! You're still sick!"

"Ji Yongie hyung! Can I?"

Mino turned to look at Ji Yong who was typing on his phone, pretending that he didn't hear anything.

"Hyung..."

"......"

"Ji hyung!"

"......"

"Yongie hyung~~~~"
