Chapter Two

(First Day)

'Beep'

The fingerprint scanner beeped as it had finished taking the fingerprint of the neko boy. Seungri got up from his seat and removed the small device and attached it to a computer-like-device and placed it on his lap. The two were currently in one of the hospital after the boy had finished his surgery. Now, Seungri is taking his fingerprints in order to identify that young boy.

"Okey, let's see..."

Seungri pressed a button on the device and the screen popped out a mission file kind of icon.

Name: Choi Seunghyun

Age: 19

Gender:Male

File: Classified

'Classified?? (Sigh) How am I am gonna fill the report than?"

Seungri frowned after seeing the file and leaned on the chair as he looked to the ceiling and sighed.

"Guess I'm stuck with this kid for a while...What was his name again?? Oh, right. Choi Seunghyun."

Seungri huffed as he too had the same name, Lee Seunghyun. The name 'Seungri' was given by his grandma because it meant 'victory' in Chinese and that his grandma would hoped that his grandson would turn out victorious in his career as a police.
As he flipped through the pages of his mission file, his phone rang which made Seungri jumped slightly.
(Seungri, Ji Yong)

"You just had to call at this time....."

Seungri: "Yoboseyo??"

Ji Yong: "Ri, how're you're doing there?? I'm bored here."

Seungri: "Same here, Ji Yong hyung. How's your kid??"

Ji Yong: "Doctor said that she suffered the least injuries out of the five. Her name's Lee Chae Rin. One of the adopted daughters of that ruthless thug, Python. She's reported to have gone missing after her father went to jail. Probably got sold to those monsters for money to bail him out since he disappeared for a while now. She only got broken hand and few big cuts on her legs. How 'bout yours?? Heard you got a freak."

Seungri glared at his cellphone when Kwon Ji Yong, his senior officer and best friend, called the boy a freak.

Seungri: "I think mine's the worst out of the five. The doctors said he suffered about six broken ribs. He got tons of cuts from what I think were from whips and some of them are infected so he's down with a fever judging by his high temperature. And even worse, he got two extra cat ears and a tail. I can't even imagine how anyone could do any of these things to these poor kids."

Ji Yong: "(Sigh), the worlds changed. Humans have turned into monsters just to fulfill their freakin' gross needs. By the way, how old is your kid??"

Seungri: "Mine's nineteen years. Yours??"

Ji Yong: "Seventeen. My god, I am so bored here. Anything I can help to ease my boredom?"

Seungri: "Actually, I do have something for you to look up at. The file that was given to me about this kid contains classified information that I can't gain access to. Could you help?? If I can't finish my report by next week, prepare to see me out the door forever."

Ji Yong: "Finally!! I've been sitting here for like forever doing nothing but looking at this girl."

Seungri: "Well, I did invite you to have breakfast with me, Ji Yeon noona and Dong Wook hyung. But you politely refused to move your butt from that chair."

Ji Yong: "Whatever. I gotta go. Bye."

Seungri rolled his eyes as he hung up.
As he was too focus on his other mission reports that were stake on his lap, Seungri didn't notice the boy's cat ears twitch slightly on the hospital bed.

"Lieutenant Gummy, welcome."

A guard said as he opened the door to let the doctor-turned-policewoman into the room. Gummy was assigned to take care of two instead of one, so she felt a bit pressured as she slowly walk down the hallway to find two hospital bed with two girls sleeping on them.

"Tablo, report."

Gummy spoke to her self-invented AI watch as she glanced at the two girls. The watch suddenly tramsformed into a scanner as light shot out from the watch to scan the two girls on the bed.

"Madam, the girl with the wavy hair is Sandara Park, twenty years old. According to the files that I could find, she was reported to be kidnapped as she was making her way home from an after-school party. The other girl on your right is Park Bom, the eldest of the five survivors, twenty one years old. Also reported to be missing on the same day Sandara Park was. Initiating full body scan...."

Gummy waited with a blank face as Tablo thoroughly scanned the two girls. When the scanning completed, Tablo spoke again:

"Sandara Park here have suffered minor heart damage due to the toxins that they have been using on her body. Other than a few cuts on her left arm, everything appears to be in good condition. While Sandara Park is in a presumebly fine condition, Park Bom here is far worse. One of her eye has probably lost sight due to being exposed to acid chemicals which have probably melted her eye. Her legs are burned during a fire that broke out when the S.W.A.T team launch a grenade at the location she was, which started a fire. Anything else, madam??"

"Thank you, Tablo. You can recharged now."

"Why, thank you madam."

Gummy sighed as she went to sit on one of the chairs that was set out between the two beds. Gummy took out a piece of paper from one of the folders and started to read it with locked eyebrows.

"Hmm, seems like these two were best friends judging by the time used when they call each other... Both were probably kidnapped at the same time on the same day too since the two went to the party as well...."

Gummy swallowed at the sight's of Bom's burned feet. As she was a doctor before, she could tell that the poor girl may need to live the rest of her life in a wheel chair forever. Gummy than glanced at Sandara Park and read the files at the end of the bed.

"Hmm, looks like the toxins that were put into her body are not the types that are harmful. Judging by the mission report from Youngbae-sshi, she was also in the same room as this Bom girl during the fire but it seems she doesn't even have any slight burn marks on her body, excluding her clothes."

Gummy looked at the burned pile of clothes that were throw into the trashcan beside the hospital bed. As she was looking at the girls thoughtfully, her watch suddenly rang.

"It appears to be Lieutenant Choi calling. Should I send it to voicemail??"

"Let me talk to him, please."

"Of course, madam."

Gummy's watch instantly transformed into a cellphone and she held it towards her ear to accept the call.

"Yoboseyo?? What is it, Wookie??"

"Still remember that two kids that were assigned to me to take care?? Well, good news, one of the nurses just informed me that one of the two was awake."
