It's Okey, You're Here With Me

Chapter Seventeen

Kwon Ji Yong sighed as he sat back down on his seat, staring at the roof above him as he waited for Lee Chae Rin to finish her lunch. After Chae Rin had woke up from her slumber, Ji Yong had called the doctors after he knew she had settled down. Making sure Chae Rin was fine and well , the doctors permitted her  discharge. Now, the two were having lunch at the hospital cafeteria, which settled in complete silence between the two as Chae Rin ate her food while Ji Yong sipped his watermelon juice.

"Ermm, mister..."

"Call me Ji Yong."

Chae Rin blinked, and for a moment it was silent between the two as Ji Yong simply stared at Chae Rin.

"Ji Yong, where are we going?"

Ji Yong could swear his inner chibi-self was dancing in circles while throwing flowers all around when he heard his name escaped the other's lips. But, he composed himsefl as to not let his lips twitch upward. Okey, maybe just a little?

"We're leaving this place. I'm taking you somewhere else to stay. Boss's orders."

Ji Yong said as he twirled his car keys, one hand offering Chae Rin to hold.

"Wha..."

"I heard from the doctors that you fell down when you were going to the washroom. I'll help you."

Ji Yong would never admit it, but he felt content and happy when he held Chae Rin's hand and pulled her to his side, making her blush.

'Even though she's not the Chae Rin I knew... But, this feels nice for some reason.'

Ji Yong looked at Chae Rin, who was shorter than him by an inch, her smooth locks tickled his nose when he turned his head.

Chae Rin didn't know why, but the moment the man in front of her smiled at her after meeting him, she felt something warm burst inside of her, and it felt..... wonderful.

"Minzy, Daesung-ah, what are you two doing??"

Dong Wook could only gaped as his eyes stared at Minzy and Daesung, both were in the middle of a fighting ring, with Minzy pinning Daesung down in a head-lock.

"We're sparring!!"

Daesung managed to say as he escaped from Minzy's grasp, and started to punch Minzy who dodged and blocked his attacks.

"How... Where did you learn sparring from?"

Minzy and Daesung stopped what they were doing as they blinked, unable to form a word. Looking at each other, Minzy and Daesung than looked at Dong Wook before continue sparring again.

"(Sigh) Fine. I'll ask you guys later. You both better wash up before dinner tonight before seven, am I clear?"

"Crystal clear!!"

It was Minzy who answered as she sent a punch towards Daesung who barely dodged it. And Dong Wook laughed when Daesung fell on his butt as Minzy sent a punch towards his shoulder which caused him to lost his balance and fell.

'They're not telling me something. And they're definitely hiding something from us, but what??'

Dong Wook could only shake his head as he went down the steps down to the first floor of the apartment, and scratched his head in frustration as he looked at the messy living room, which could only be the work of two kids who are now sparring in the gym.

Chae Rin could only stare in awe as she marveled at the luxurious apartment in front of her. Ji Yong who stood only a few steps behind her, watching her with a soft gaze.
A melodic hum came from the living room as Ji Yong dropped a bag of groceries on the kitchen counter, and bursted into laughter  when he looked at the living room.
