It's Okey, You're Here With Me

Chapter Sixteen

"Fuck."

Dong Wook cursed and threw the crumpled paper that Youngbae gave him to the wall. Trying to suppress another curse from escaping his mouth, Dong Wook snatched a lighter from the table and lit up a cigarette. Puffing out the smoke, Dong Wook sighed. He thought his 'mission' was over when he delivered Seunghyun's papers to Youngbae. But, nooo. Youngbae just had to seized this opportunity of Dong Wook becoming his 'personal assistant' and made him deliver all the others papers as well.

Dong Wook puffed a cloud of smoke in front of him, leaning against the railing, unaware of Gummy's existense, who was leaning at the door leading to the balcony, frowning at Dong Wook smoking. (She will never admit that his colleague/crush looks so fucking hot when he smokes~)

"Wookie."

"Shit... Yes, noona?"

Gummy fought to not smile as Dong Wook tried to hide his cigarette, but ultimately failed as he faced his colleague, his lips quivering nervously.

"Sorry, I know I shouldn't smoke, but I..."

"Its okey, Wookie-ah. I understand completely."

Gummy said as she walked to the balcony and stood beside Dong Wook, also leaning on the balcony with her hands on the cool railing.  Gummy closed her eyes as a gentle breeze grazed her face, not noticing the soft gaze that Dong Wook gave her. 

"Well, I better go to headquarters. Tablo's been grumpy lately eversince he saw my attendance record."

"I still can't believe you and Blo are just best friends. You two are always so close that I thought you guys were siblings, since you two are the only ones with English nicknames, excluding Psy."

"Yeah, people always mistook us for siblings. Blo has been with me eversince we're toddlers. We seperated when I moved to Seoul and Blo went studying at the States for his I.T major."

Gummy sighed softly as she ran her hand through her brown locks, Dong Wook watching her graceful moves with soft eyes.

"We met each other again when he came to the police station as an intern for the cyber team. I was still an autopsy doctor by than. Blo was the one who encouraged me to join the cyber police force after I failed my test. We were partners for years and nothing could seperate us from doing almost everything. Until you came along."

Gummy smiled as she saw the shocked expression from Dong Wook and laughed as a certain pink came blossoming onto Dong Wook's cheek.

"You won't believe how Blo reacted when I told him that you and I are gonna be working partners for this case. I swear, that was one of his cutest moment when he was jealous."

"Noona, how could you tease me like that??"

Gummy's watch beeped as Tablo's pixeled face appeared and Gummy laughed as Tablo pouted.

"You're late, noona. I'm giving you twenty minutes tops to get to the office before I leave the office for lunch."

"Fine. I'm coming."

Gummy pressed a button on her watch and Tablo's head disappeared.

"Looks like I'm really really needed at headquarters. "

"Yeah, see you later, noona."

"Later, Wookie."

Dong Wook had expected that Gummy would just walk off, but what he didn't expect was that Gummy had actually kissed his cheek before leaving with a beautiful smile on her face.

The blush on Dong Wook never subsided from his cheeks that when he went down from his room, Minzy had thought that her caretaker was having a fever.

"Wookie oppa, are you okey?? You look like you have a fever.."

"What? No, I'm not sick.. Definitely not sick at all.."

Dong Wook smiled at Minzy while his body swayed side to side. He was on cloud nine and his body felt like cotton.

"Looks who's back!!"

Daesung's shout of excitement caught Dong Wook's attention as Seungri was seen carrying a sleeping Seunghyun in his arms, the other hand telling Daesung to be quiet as to not disturb the sleeping hybrid.

"Yah, hyung, what happened to you?? Your face's as red as a tomato."

Seungri said softly as he adjusted Seunghyun im his arms, looking at Dong Wook corcernly.

"Its nothing..."

Dong Wook just shrugged, but the damn blush just won't disappeared. And Seungri pretty much got the idea as he remembered encountering Gummy who sang when he passed by her on the way.

"Omo, don't tell me... You confessed to Gummy noona?"

Dong Wook's entirely red face betrayed his mouth as Dong Wook denied.  Seungri felt like this was the happiest day ever. First, he now gets to spend time with his old-time cute and adorable Seunghyun all day without any disturbance. Second, his ultimate ship had set sailed. 

"I have to tell Ji hyung about this. He'll be so pissed when I get my hands on the latest Apple computer."

"Wait, Seungri.. I didn't confess anything..."

"Huh, wha??"

Seungri's fingers paused at the call button, raising an eyebrow at Dong Wook's words.

"Uh.. dammit, to think I could finally get my hands on Ji Yong hyung's card. So, what did happened to make your face this red?"

Seungri asked which cause Dong Wook to go silent, the red blush which had subsided resurfaced and coloured his face.

"Wah, hyung. Your face's so red they could bring roses to shame."

Seungri teased but when Seunghyun started to squirm in his arms, the officer immediately got to work by shushing the cat hybrid and patted his back like what mothers would do to their babies to make them burp.

'These two are so cute... Sean hyung was right. Those two are made for each other.'

Dong Wook thought as he watched the whole scene.

"I'll be taking the sleeping beauty here to his room. And I'll be putting the 'do not disturb' sign by the door if anyone needs me."

Seungri said as he practically ran upstairs, careful to not startled the sleeping beauty in his arms. Dong Wook shook his head and when he realized that both Minzy and Daesung had seemingly disappeared from the room, he panicked as he frantically searched for them.

Dong Wook searched every corner, every room and even Seungri's room, and got a flying pillow at his face the moment he opened the door. He was thankful for the pillow as it blocked his eyes from a very bright light emanating from the room. At last, Dong Wook found them at the thrid floor gym, which was located between the penthouse and the second floor. That floor also had a spa, a massage room, a sauna, and even hot springs for them to enjoy if they needed to cool off.

Dong Wook couldn't believe his own eyes as he stared at Minzy and Daesung with wide eyes, his jaws wide opened that it could almost fall to the floor.
