Truth was, Laten was not hungry. He just needed to get out of there. He made his way to the men's bathroom, zigging and zagging through all the students.

Finally he got to the bathroom. Surprisingly, it was empty...except for one specific student. Laten cursed quietly.

There, leaning against the sink looking smug, was none other then Tankie. "So, you wanna talk?" He walked past Laten to the bathroom door and locked it. He then turned back to him. "No one will eavesdrop on you. You can trust me."

Laten felt his breath quickening. "I told you, nothing is wrong. Let it go."

"I am just trying to help."

Laten rolled his eyes. "Well don't! I never told you to help. That's because I don't need your help, I don't need the teacher's help, I don't need anybody's help!"

Tankie narrowed his eyes. "You know, the first step to healing, is admitting that you have a problem." Tankie had no idea why Laten was so defensive about telling him. He wasn't stupid. Tankie did his research. He had a feeling his friend was doing self harm. He is so quick to stretch his sleeve even more when he pulls it down to hide them.

"What are you talking about?" Laten knew what he was talking about, but he wasn't going to give in so easily. Nobody was suppose to know! Since when has he gone so careless? "Look, you have no idea what you are talking about. I suggest that you go enjoy your lunch and stop trying to understand what you don't."

Tankie leaned, with his back against the door. He refuses to leave until class. He was stubborn and determined just as much as Laten was. "Your self harming. I want to know why."

There was dead silence in the echoing room.

Then, Laten snapped. "Well guess what? You will never know. Because I will never tell you! I don't want you to worry! I AM FINE! Why don't you go on and help someone else? I don't want your help. Stay out of my life!" By the time he was done, Laten was breathing heavily. After a few more breathes, it was getting harder and harder to breath. Laten rushed to get his inhaler from his messenger bag. When he finally got it,he was almost suffocating. He got his inhaler and used it. After a few minutes he was able to breath normally.

Tankie just looked at him. "Look, I'm not going to force you to tell me, nor can I force you to stop. I'm here for you. Maybe you are just to blind to notice that, but I do care. I am just scared that one day I will walk in here and find your body on the floor and your blade in your hands, and your arms bleeding. It will happen. You will get scared because you think it won't be deep enough. Then, before you know it..."

Laten stood up. That hurt him. "You think I'm that stupid? I would never take my own life. I know when I get a little carried away. I know how to stop if I do. If you think I'll die at my own hands, you are more stupid then I give you credit for."

"I'm not leaving. When I do find you, I'll be the one to take you to the ER. I will do that however many times it takes because I can't see my only friend die."

Laten shook his head. "Are you even listening to me? I will not die. I'm happy that you care, but your wasting your breath." He walked up to Tankie, and pushed him out of the way of the door, and unlocked it. But before he walked out, he heard his friend say,

"You are so blind and selfish."

Laten flinched. He was right. All he is is a screw up. He walked to his 5th period even though the bell hasn't yet rang. He needed space. Away from everybody. He had a paperclip in his pocket. Even though he knew the teacher always locked the door, he always picked the lock. He knew it was considered vandalism, but it's not considered that if you don't get caught right? Hey, he never said he was a saint.
