Chapter 17

*Carter's pov*
I still love her...I hated seeing her happy with someone else. I know im dating Ciara but my heart belongs to Christine. I need to breakup with Ciara. I need my cutie back...

*Christine's Pov*
After that whole "fight" Cam & I had I decided to just lay there for a moment & think. Am I really going to get my own apartment? Am I ready? Hmm I know I'm ready. I'll think more about it after the trip.

I got out of bed & grabbed my phone. I had 10 texts. 5 from Sam , 3 from kian & 2 from Jc.
They all said the same thing. That they were sorry about what happened. I just said the same thing back - "it's alright. im used to it." I said

I grabbed some clothes & went to the bathroom. I took a shower then changed into black high waisted shorts , black bandeau , white muscle tee & gray converse. I straightened my hair them clipped my bangs back with a black bow. I put on light makeup & ended with a nice red lipstick. I went back to the room to clean my things. Once I finished I went back downstairs. The guys were still on the couch watching tv.
They didn't notice I was there so I kept staring at them until they noticed.
"oh my god why are you staring at us like that?!" Matt asked
"you guys didn't notice me coming down. HAHA OH MY GOD." I said laughing
"you're a creepy little girl." Nash said
I winked & sat down with them.
"You look good today." Cameron said moving next to me
"I didn't look good yesterday?!" I asked pretending to be hurt
"awwh no babe you did" he said
"haha im just kidding" I said laughing
He rolled his eyes.
"I'll be back." I said as I walked into the kitchen.

I looked through their pantry they had nothing good. asdfghjkl i want McDonalds.
I went back to where the guys were.
"Guys in going to McDonalds. Ya'll want anything?" I asked
"I want....to go with you" Cameron said standing up
I smiled & nodded
"I wanna go too!!" Matt yelled
"Me three!" Nash yelled
"Damn let's all go then." I said rolling my eyes
I grabbed my penny board , bag & phone & went out the door.
Nash & I skated there while the rest walked behind us.

We finally arrived at McDonalds. I went to go order while the guys went to look for seats.
A few mins later I got the food & went to the table. When I got to the table I saw Ciara sitting on Carter's lap.
"Uhm here's your food guys." I said sitting down
"What's she doing here" Ciara asked glaring at me
"She's with us." Cameron said
"Why is she always with you guys?" She asked
"She's our best friend." Nash said
"Whore..." She mumbled
"excuse me?" I said
"I called you a whore" she said
"How am I a whore?" I asked
"Dumbass look ! You're always with these boys. Plus I heard you live with a bunch of guys so..." She said
For a moment I glared at each of the guys then back at Ciara.
"I don't think that makes me a whore. 1st of all 1 of the guys I live with is my brother. 2nd I'm not gonna live with them anymore. 3rd is it bad to be friends with guys? I'm just friends with them if I had sex with each of them then there that's my definition of a whore. Smh you look like one yourself." I said mumbling the last part
Ciara stood up & grabbed me by the hair & threw me to the ground
"Bitch! Don't talk to me like that!" She yelled
People started looking at us.
The guys helped me up while Carter tried to pry Ciara off me.
"I'm not done with you." she said before leaving
"Fuck you." I said rolling my eyes

"Are you okay babe?" Cameron asked
"yeah..she messed up my hair though damn." I said
He laughed
"What?" I asked
"You just got in a fight & you're worried about your hair." He said
"I spent precious time tryna straighten my hair y'know. haha wait I'll be back." I said
I went to the bathroom to fix my hair & adjust the bow. I fixed my lipstick & everything else then walked back out.

"You alright now?" Cam asked
I nodded & laughed.
We sat down & ate. We would just talk about random things while eating.
I finished my food before the guys so I just sat there waiting for them.
"Damn you're done already?" Nash asked
"I was hungry..." I said
"You ordered a big burger + fries + a medium drink." Matt said
"yeah and?" I asked
"For a small & skinny girl you do eat a lot." He said
I rolled my eyes.
I am pretty short for my age. I'm like 4'11 or 5.
"Imma call you munchkin" Nash said
"Awwh that's so cute haha but why munchkin?" I asked
"Cause you're short & you have chubby cheeks." He said squeezing my cheeks
I giggled.

A few mins later the guys finally finished eating. We cleaned up the table then decided to go to the mall.
When we got there the first store we went into was Pacsun. I love all the clothes in pacsun. Especially the guys clothes. it's heaven in there but it's so expensive.

As I was looking at the girls clothes I heard someone yell my name. I looked back to the sam & the guys.
"Hey chris!" Sam said hugging me
I didn't hug back.
"Uh hi." I said
"Are you here alone?" He asked
"No. I'm with the guys." I said
"oh...alright. are you coming home tonight?" he asked
"I don't know." I said
Just then Cameron came by my side.
"Hey bro!" Jc yelled
"Hey guys." Cameron said
"How have you been? Haven't talked to you in a while" jc said
"I'm good. You?" Cameron asked
"We've been uhm good." Sam said
Nash , Carter & Matt soon appeared.
"If you're taking Chris back we're not letting you. She's been hurt enough." Nash said
"We're not gonna hurt her anymore. We've learned our lesson. We promise." Kian said
"bullshit." Matt said
"You slapped her!" Nash said
"They slapped you?!" Cameron asked
charging towards the guys.
I held him back
"Stop. Stop. That was before." I said
"If you hurt her again im gonna get you." Cam said
The guys nodded.
"Hey chris can I talk to you alone real quick?" Sam asked
I looked at him then at the guys then back at sam.
The guys gave me a worried look.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry." I said to them.
I nodded at sam then we walked out of the store.

*Carter's pov*
They slapped Chris?! What?! When?! How does Matt & Nash know but not me & Cameron?!
I was supposed to protect her...not Cameron. I told her I would protect her but I didn't. Cameron needs to get out of the way so I can get my princess back.

*Cameron's pov*
Once sam & chris left we were just staring at each other. Awkward silence.
When did she get slapped?! How come I didn't know about this?! I need to ask her later what happened.
I watched sam & chris to make sure nothing happens. I'm gonna keep her safe.
Carter isn't going to do shit.
She's mine not Carter's.

*Christine's pov*
"So..." I said
"When are you coming back home?" Sam asked
"I don't know..." I said
"Are you ever?" He asked
"yeah of course. to get my things...." I said mumbling the last part
"get your things? for what?" He asked
"I'm going on vacation soon then I might get my own apartment." I said
"Where are you going?" He asked
"San Francisco maybe." I said
"Are we that bad that you wanna live on your own?" He asked
I gave him a look & nodded.
he stayed quiet.
"We apologized. I'll get the guys to apologize again. Don't leave us. Don't leave me please." He pleaded
"Apologizing isn't going to do anything. I still don't feel safe in that house. I still feel uncomfortable. I still can't trust you guys..." I said tearing up.
"can I uhm see your wrist?" He asked
"Why?" I asked
"Just give me your wrist" he said
I gave him my wrist & he examined it.
"Other one." He said
I gave him my other wrist.
"No new cuts..." He said smiling.
I pulled my arms away & nodded.
"i guess there's nothing else i can say to make you forgive us...so I'll leave you alone." He said
"thank you." I said
"can i hug you sis?" He asked
I hesitated a little but then gave in.
"I love you sis." He said
I didn't respond.
We pulled away & headed back into the store. All the guys were looking at us. Cameron gave me a concerned look.
"I'm fine. Don't worry." I said smiling & hugging him.
"Are you two a thing?" Jc asked
I looked up at Cam.
Tbh I don't even know what we are.
"uhm no." I said
they nodded.
"well we'll see ya later. bye guys. bye chris." Sam said
I smiled then they left.

We continued our shopping until it was getting late.
Around 6:30 we went home. I kinda bought a lot of things so I went up to Cameron's room to put down everything & sort it all.
Soon there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." I said
"Hey babe." Cameron said
"Hey" I said smiling
"Can we talk really quick?" He asked
"Sure" I said putting my clothes down & sitting on the bed.
"What's up?" I asked
"When did they slap you?" He asked
"oh. uhm. yesterday..." I said
"How come Matt & Nash know about it but not me or Carter?" He asked
"They were there when it happened. They came over & when we decided to come here I had my things with me & they asked why I was coming here & why I'm always with you guys. I told them they were being assholes & how you guys are so caring then sam slapped me." I said
"Are you ever going back home?" He asked
"I don't know. Like I said I might get my own apartment so..." I said
"I can move in with you if you want." He said
"No it's fine." I said
"Or like what we talked about before. Live with us. You can stay in my room." He said winking
"I said I'll think about it" I said rolling my eyes.
"you better. you know if anything bad happens you can call me? I'll always be here for you. I won't let anyone touch you. you're my princess." He said hugging me
"Thank you Cameron." I said smiling
"Anything for you babe....I love you." He said
I looked up at him & kissed his cheek.
"How about we go out tmrw? Just me & you?" He asked
"Alright." I said smiling

I finished cleaning up my little mess then we went downstairs to watch a movie with the guys. They decided to watch the conjuring. That shit was hella scary I kept yelling & kicking. The guys kept laughing & Cameron just held me every time I got scared. After we decided to watch Monsters university to make things not so scary anymore. About halfway through the movie my eyes started closing & I ended up falling asleep cuddling into Cameron.
