Chapter 41

*Christine's pov*

"Babe. Babe wake up. Today's the meet & greet." Cam said shaking me
I rubbed my eyes open & then just stared off into space. After a while I got up.
"Goodmorning babe" I said kissing Cam on the cheek.

All the guys were up already , they were just sitting around talking & going on their phones. The actual event was at 11 & it's 10 rn. The guys started doing smack cams. Oh no no no I'm not getting involved in this.

I quickly grabbed my clothes & headed to the bathroom & locked the door behind me. I took a quick shower & when I finished I plugged in my straightener to let it warm up.

I changed into a loose gray shirt & black shorts. I loosely tucked in the shirt then put a thin brown belt around my shorts. Next i put on black knee high socks & black combat boots.

I blow dried my hair then when I finished I put some heat protectant serum & started straightening my hair. Once I finished I put on some makeup.

When I was done i cleaned up my mess then to end everything I put on a camo jacket that ended mid thigh. I examined myself in the mirror & I was satisfied.

I walked back out to the room to see the guys sitting around. Guess they finished their smack cam sesh.

"I want food." I said

"Can we get food? Or did you guys eat already?" I asked

It's 10:45. Asdfghjkl. Imma just eat at starbucks & just meet the guys wherever the event was happening. I texted Cam & told him that I would just meet them there.

I walked into Starbucks & breathed in the smell of coffee. I ordered a caramel brûlée latte & a chocolate croissant. Once I got food & drink I sat down at those one person couch chair thing lol.

I just sat there eating & drinking while scrolling through twitter & Instagram. I checked the time & it was already 11:30. shit. I took the last sip of my drink & threw it away along with the little bag that had the croissant.

I walked to the little convention room or whatever & saw a bunch of screaming girls.
I heard someone yell my name & looked over to see Cam waving at me & gesturing me for me to go over to him.

I walked over to him & the guys.
They were busy signing & taking pictures though so I just stood on the side.
While waiting for them to finish a couple girls came up to me.

"Are you Cameron's girlfriend?" One asked
"Yeeah" I said smiling
"Well that's sad..." Another said
"And uhm why is that?" I asked
"Cause he's good looking & you're just eww." Said another girl
"Does it look like I give a fuck?" I asked
"Whatever. He doesn't deserve you. You're a worthless piece of shit & uhm by the looks of it ," she said looking down at my arm

I forgot that I had my sleeve up...my scars...
"You're obviously a freak that just wants to herself look 10x uglier." She said
"You listen here , you don't know me , you don't my story. You don't know shit about me. So don't you dare go judging people cause of how they look. If you're just gonna call me names I don't really give a fuck cause obviously ya'll have nothin better to do but hate on people. Ya'll aren't real fans if you're hating on the people your idols love." I said
"How do you know he loves you? What if he has another girl huh? What if you're just one of his girls that he'll date for a while then break up with?" The first girl asked

I started tearing up....what if I am just one of his girls?

Her & her friends laughed then walked away.
I leaned my back against the wall & slid down.

The crowd of girls soon died down & there was just a couple of girls left. I sat there hugging my legs. I couldn't get what those girls said out of my head. I shouldn't let it get to me. I'm overthinking things...

I didn't realize the guys were completely done cause I was still thinking about what just happened.
"Chris. Hey. You alright?" Matt asked
"Huh? What oh uhm y-yeah im fine." I stuttered.
"Are you sure?" He asked
"Yeah" I said fake smiling
"Okay then...the guys are backstage let's go" he said helping me up

We walked backstage & saw the guys getting ready to go back up to the room.
"Hey babe" Cameron said hugging me
"Hey" I said smiling
"You okay?" He asked
"y-yeah im fine." I said

The guys & i all went back up to the room so they could take a little rest. I decided to take a nap while we're up here. I went to sleep still thinking about what those girls said...

*Cameron's pov*

We all went up to the room so we could take a rest. Chris took a nap. I laid next to her & I was about to take a nap too when I my phone buzzed.

I checked my phone to see a text from Brittany.
