Chapter 40

*Christine's pov*

"Cameron?" I asked
"Yeah babe?" He asked
"Can I talk to you? In private?" I asked
His face dropped when I asked that.
"Y-yeah sure." He said

We got out of the pool & walked inside.
"uhm...remember this morning how Carter & I took the stairs?" I asked
"Yeah.." He said
"He stopped me in the middle & told me he still loves me then he kissed me..." I said slowly
Cameron stayed quiet for a while.
"Did you kiss back?" He asked
It was my turn to stay quiet.
"Chris. Did you kiss back?" He asked sternly

I nodded & the tears started pouring out.
"W-why?" He asked
"I wanted to see if I still loved him...but when I kissed back there was nothing. I don't love him anymore. I love you & only you. I swear to god. You're the only one." I said crying
He stayed quiet.
"I'm sorry..." I said crying & walking away.

Before I could walk any further he pulled me by the arm & engulfed me into a hug.
"It's okay babe. As long as nothing else happened & you don't love him anymore." He said
idk why but i couldn't stop crying.
"shhh babe don't worry. im not mad. it's okay.." he said rubbing my back
"I'm sorry." I said
"It's fine. I understand." He said

Soon the guys came in with our things & when they saw us & my tear stained face they looked worried.
"What happened? Cameron what did you do?!" Matt asked
"Baby girl are you okay?" Nash asked
I wiped my tears & looked at them.
"Guys. Nothing bad happened. It's nothing. I'm fine." I said smiling.
They nodded but I could tell they didn't believe what I said.

"Trust me. I'm fine. See , I'm smiling." I said giving them a toothy smile.
They just chuckled.
Sam handed me a towel & I wrapped it around my body.

We started walking to the elevator & back up to the room. I walked behind them cause I was scrolling through my phone.

*Nash's pov*

"Aye. Did you tell her?" I asked
"No." He said
"Then why was she crying?" I asked
"Carter kissed her this morning & she thought I was mad." He said
"What? Why did you kiss her?" I asked Carter.
"I uhm told her i still l-love her & yeah.." He said
"You aren't mad?" I asked Cameron
"No. She said she loves me & only me." He said
"Yeah but the problem is...you're cheating." Taylor said
"Bro shut up! keep it down at least!" Cam said

We looked back to see if she heard. She didn't she was focusing on her phone.
Good. That was a close one.
I wonder how long we can keep this up...

*Christine's pov*

When we got to the bathroom I called dibs on the shower.
"Can I come?" Cameron asked smirking
"Naaah" I said
"Awwh come on babe. We need some alone time" he said
"I need some me time." I said
"You can have your 'me time' but imma be there too." He said
"No. Maybe next time." I said winking
He bit his lip. Okay that was pretty hot , I gotta admit.

I grabbed some basketball shorts & a white v-neck , undergarments then went to the bathroom to shower.

When I finished I dressed in those clothes then put my hair up in a messy bun. I didn't bother putting on makeup since we were probably just gonna stay here the rest of the day.

I went out to the room & yelled "next!" & Sam ran into the bathroom.
I put my dirty clothes & away then plopped down onto the bed. Ahhh I love beds.

I was just laying there on my phone while each one of the boys went to take a shower. When Cameron finished he plopped down on the bed next to me & pulled me into him.
I snuggled into his chest & we just laid there cuddling.

My eyes soon started closing. Before I could actually close them I mumbled "I love you" & Cameron held me tighter & kissed me on the forehead saying "I love you too" I smiled at his response then went to sleep.
