The wooden front door shut with a thud, a cold breeze blowing in with the noise. I dropped my holed and tattered sleeves. All of my shirts had holes in them from my anxious picking. Nick saughnterd in, his cockiness through the roof. "What's going on? Did you see her again?" I mumbled as I followed him, picking at my sleeves again.
Nick ignored me and continued on through the halls, a grin on his face. He had a plan. I stumbled behind him until he stopped at Jas' room. Jas was lying shirtless on his bed, hovering over a lifeless body. I hid behind the doorframe, disgusted by the gore I saw. Jas turned to us and wiped the blood from his lips. "I see you enjoyed her. I'll have to go and get you another later." "Get in here, Scardy Cat." Jas said to me as I pulled on my sleeves. I entered the room and looked at the clothes scattered amongst the floor.
"I have a plan. A plan that will get rid of the vampires for good and let the werewolves rule the world!" I glanced at Nick, his grin growing. Jas didn't seem too happy considering he was a vampire. "Eh-hem!" "Don't worry, Jas, you will be safe and promised your safety." Jas thought for a moment. "Go on..." "First we need to get Avery and her hybrid child. Since they're both hybrids, they can offer us great strength in this war. Now...hybrids grow much faster than normal children. I can get the child and Avery to produce more hybrids, only werewolf hybrids. As they grow, we raise them to be killers. Then... We kill the vampires off and one by one, we become the dominate race. I have exactly what I want. And the werewolf race will strive. Hybrid werewolves will be killing machines. And Kyler will be dead." Nick cackled. Jas thought it over and agreed.
"No! I-I can't do this! I can't let you do this! I refuse to be a part of this! I already have too many peoples blood on my hands because of you! I won't do it!" I yelled, my knees growing weak. I've never stood up for myself before.
Nick turned to me, anger shining in his eyes, but his grin still there. He looked psychotic. "Now, now, Nate. Wouldn't you like to see Avery again? After all you loved her, right?" He was playing this trick again. I wasn't going to fall for it this time. "Of course I want to see her and of course I love her! But if she were here, she wouldn't be mine! She would be yours and she doesn't want to be yours! She clearly found love I couldn't give her and she's going to start her own family! And I'm not going to let you ruin that! I already can't forgive you for what you've done and I'm not going to kill for you anymore and I'm not going to let you ruin her life!" I said, my voice rising.
Nicks grin vanished and he quickly got angry. He shoved me against the the wall. He grinned at me. "Then you will be the first to go."
I glared at him. I had to stop him. I brought my legs up and kicked him. He fell back and his Jas' bed. "You'll pay for that!" A plan formed in my mind. This was going to work perfectly! It had to! Nick ran at me and I cowered. "Please stop! I surrender. I'll do what you want. Just promise you won't hurt Avery..." Nick grinned down at me. "Now that's my boy."
This plan has to work....
