Kyler's P.O.V
I watched Avery as she convulsed from the pain of the change.
I felt so bad for doing it. She had no idea!
I love her, I really do. And this way we can be together forever without as many problems as the past held.
I wonder when she'll wake, if she'll still love me and if she's ready to accept all the sacrifice of being a vampire.
One can only hope everything will be okay.
Avery's P.O.V.
The pain raged through my body, I had no clue how long it had been.
All I knew was that I was ecstatic when the pain subsided and I got my senses back.
The first thing I noticed was how dry my throat was.
Then I noticed the presence of another body and I slowly opened my eyes.
I looked at the face in front of me and smiled.
I felt the new canines that had formed and I sighed.
"Hey," I said sheepishly.
Kyler sighed in relief.
"You okay?" he asked.
I gave him a weak smile as the door slammed open...
**Thanks ILoveMusicNao for writing the beginning for me! I changed it just a bit but not too much so thank again!**
I gave him a weak smile as the door slammed open.
We both jumped and out of instinct, Kyler got in front of me, shielding me.
"Oh-Em-Gee!" I head a familiar high pitched voice shout.
Kyler let his guard down just as X decided to tackle me.
"I'm so glad you're okay!" he said, squeezing me tighter.
X finally pulled back.
"X, sorry but you need to leave. Avery and I have a lot to talk about."
X gave us a pouty face before he reluctantly left.
Kyler turned to me, worried filled his eyes.
He grabbed a bad filled with red goo off the nightstand and opened the top before handing it to me.
"Drink this." He said as he sat in front of me.
I gave the bag a disgusted look.
"Avery... you have to drink that. You'll like it, I promise."
I gave Kyler a skeptical look but then took a sip.
It tasted horrible!
Kyler didn't seem to react at all to my reaction with the taste.
A few seconds later, I took another drink.
Only this time... it was the best thing I've ever tasted.
"It'll take you a while to get used to the taste."
I continued drinking it.
"We have a lot to talk about."
I gave him a confused look.
"Now, I can image you can see, smell, and hear a lot better than you used to?"
I nodded and stopped drinking long enough for me to speak.
"Yeah, I thought I was just going crazy."
Kyler gave me a sexy half-smirk.
"No, you're not crazy. It's part of being a vampire. And you can turn that off and see, hear, and smell like a normal human. Just focus."
I did as told and focused on nothing but turning all that off.
It had to be at least five minutes before it actually worked.
"It'll take you some time before you get used to it and then you'll be able to turn it on and off in less than a second."
I nodded and continued drinking on my second bag of blood.
"Now, you're speed wont really be an issue. You're strength on the other hand might be. It's very doubtful but it might be."
I nodded as I finished my second bag.
As soon as I had finished drinking, I felt so much better.
So much more... alive you could say.
To be honest, I've never felt better.
