"Don't tell X, please don't! It'll kill him to know I'm dying!" Alex said as tears started coming to his eyes.
Kyler and I both rushed over to him.
Kody went into the bathroom and grabbed a towel and put it on Alex's arm to stop the bleeding.
"Is there a cure?" Alex asked as tears spilled out from his eyes.
"I'm not sure. We're taking you to Sarek's. Right now!" Kyler said as he grabbed me and started running.
Within a few minutes we were at his house that was halfway across the world.
Kyler set me down just as Kody and Alex showed up.
The door opened as soon as Kyler was about to knock.
Sarek stood there and had a confused look on his face.
"Alex got bit by a werewolf. Help him please! You have to do something!" Kyler pleaded.
Sarek's eyes grew big before he calmed himself and started leading Alex somewhere inside.
We all followed them into a room.
Sarek took the towel off of Alex's arm and grimaced at what it looked like.
There was blood and the skin around the bite was starting to die.
Alex was crying but tried to be brave.
Sarek's eyes saddened and he looked at the three of us.
"There is no cure." He mumbled.
Alex's eye went wide before he fell to his knees and cried.
"What's gonna happen to X!?" he sobbed into his hands.
I got on my knees and pulled Alex in my arms, trying to calm him.
I can't imagine what's going through his head right now. I would hate leaving Kyler; he must be devastated about losing X.
Within a few minutes, everyone was crying.
What else were we supposed to do? There was nothing that could be done. Nothing.

When we got home, all our faces were tearstained.
We walked through the door and X and Alli came running.
X ran right into Alex's arms and that's when we all started crying again.
Kyler pulled me close to him as tears rolled down both our cheeks.
"Why's everyone crying?" X asked, looking at all our faces.
Alex pulled it together, trying to be brave.
He took X in his arms and made him look at him.
"X..."
"Yes..."
"You mean the world to me. I would die for you-"
"No! I wouldn't let you die for me. I'm not that important."
"To me, you are the most important thing in the world! I would gladly die for you if only I could still be with you."
"What are you saying?" X asked his voice cracking.
"X..." Alex started before his voice cracked. "I'm going to die." Alex said before X screamed.
"NO!" X cried, throwing himself at Alex.
They held each other tight as the world around them came crashing down, destroying everything they ever dreamed of.
