"What!?" Kyler and I both shouted at the same time.
"He said he wants to talk to you, Kyler."
Kyler's grip on me had tightened incredibly.
He set me next to him and stood.
"Stay right here. Don't go anywhere else." Kyler ordered as he walked out the door.
Alex walked through the door and grabbed X by the waist and led him out, leaving me alone.
I sat on the couch and waited for Kyler to come back.
I stood when the door opened.
My eyes widened when Nick walked in instead of Kyler.
"Hey babe, you miss me?"
Kyler's P.O.V.
I walked out the front doors and sure enough Jas was standing there.
Kody and Alex had followed me, in case Jas had something planed.
"What do you want, Jas?" I asked, getting ready for a fight if needed.
"I just came here to tell you that if you give Nick Avery, we'll call off the Agency."
"The Agency was you!?" I roared.
"But of course. We'd have her one way or another. Oh, and by the way, Nick's in the castle so you might want to go see if Avery's still in there."
Kody and Alex lunged at him as I ran inside.
I don't know if they actually got Jas or not. I didn't care either.
When I got back to our room, Avery wasn't inside.
Rage ignited in me and I hit the wall before running back outside to find Jas and Nick and other werewolves.
Other wolves were holding Alex and Kody back so they wouldn't fight.
Nick held Avery against him which only made the rage worse.
Avery was trying her hardest to get out of Nick's grip but it wasn't working for some odd reason. Every vampire is stronger than a wolf, I wonder why she wasn't.
I felt a growl start up in my throat.
The others started growling as well.
"Let him go!!" I heard X scream as the front doors opened as he ran out.
"X, go back inside. Now!" I growled, not looking away from Nick.
"No! They've got Alex!"
"X, I'll be fine. Go back inside with Allie."
I knew X was giving a big pouty face but then I heard him run back inside.
"Let-her-go!" I ordered.
Nick smiled.
"And what are you going to do if I don't? You can't fight me. That's why they're here." Nick said as he pointed to his clan member s the stood behind him.
"So you're too chicken to fight me? Is that why they're here?"
Nick glared at me, knowing that was the reason.
"You know, one bite from a werewolf can kill a vampire. All I have to do is snap my fingers and you and your friends are good as dead."
My eyes widened and I looked at Avery, afraid they'd bite her.
"What do you want?" I asked, not dropping my guard as some of the wolves stepped closer.
"I want what's in my arms." Nick said as he looked down at Avery.
Her eyes were filled with fear and sorrow.
After what he did to her, I can't imagine how scared she is to be near him.
"Well you can't have her. She's mine!" I yelled, my rage finally taking over me.
I lunged at him before he knew what was happening.
He ended up on the ground and Avery was out of his grip.
I punched and kicked Nick as much as I could before I was pulled off by three wolves.
*btw in case you are wondering, the wolves, aren't wolves at the moment. They are humans just in case you were wondering*
Avery didn't get far away from Nick and he tried reaching out for her.
Before the wolves pulled me away and before Nick got to her, I wrapped her in my arms.
She wrapped her arms around me tight, not going to let go.
But apparently neither of our grips was tight enough. Nick grabbed her and the wolves holding me pulled me away as Nick pulled Avery away.
"No!" I shouted, thrashing, trying to get out of their grip so I could get Avery back.
But so far, I was failing.
