Kyler and I were in the kitchen later that night.
I was sitting on the counted and Kyler stood in front of me.
My second blood bag was soon empty.
Kyler took the empty bag and threw it away.
He set his hands on my hips and kissed me.
"Avery, I love you." He whispered in my ear.
"I love you, too" I said as he picked me up bridal style.
I rested my head on his shoulder as he carried me through the castle.
He carried me into a room I've never seen before and carried me out to the balcony.
"Aren't the stars beautiful?" I mumbled, looking up as Kyler laid us back.
"Not near as beautiful as you." Kyler said, making me blush.
I cuddled close to him as the cold December air blew.
Kyler kissed me and pulled me closer, blocking most of the wind.
I pulled away even though he didn't want me to.
I rested my head on his chest.
Nothing could ruin this moment.
It was so perfect!
You could hear the wind slightly blow the branches of the trees.
In the distance you could hear owls and wolves.
Or... werewolves. I could never tell the two apart.
I sighed and smiled as Kyler kissed my forehead.
There was nothing that could ruin this!
But I was wrong...
I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my stomach.
"What's wrong?" Kyler asked, panicked.
All I did was try not to scream and grip his shirt.
It felt like I was being stabbed over and over again.
Kyler picked me up and ran to our room.
He set me on the bed and grabbed his phone to call Sarek.
Just as he did, the pain vanished.
I grabbed the phone and hung up.
"No! I don't call him! I don't wanna go back!"
Kyler sat next to me and took my hands.
"I know you don't want to go back, but I don't want you hurt or sick."
I sighed as he pulled me into a hug.
"If you start to hurt again, I'm calling him. No matter what you say or do."
I looked up at him and pouted.
"That's not gonna work this time, Darling." He said as he laughed and kissed me.
