"With her hair tied up in some messy ponytail and a tea in her hand, she walked out of the restaurant even though it was barely after two in the afternoon.

As she walked further down the street, she couldn't help but notice how some people stopped to stare at her for a few seconds before continuing in their way. She knew that she looked slightly unconventional, but she was also aware that she looked good in her back dress pants and pink blouse, so she kept going, with her head held high and her mind on the meeting to come.

Stepping inside the enormous glass building after throwing her empty cup away, she headed straight to the elevator, ignoring the woman at the front desk that kept calling after her from one very unorganized desk.

Luckily, the elevator was empty, allowing her to check her appearance on the mirrored walls and attempted to fix her hair before reaching her destination.

A low warning of arrival sounded as the doors opened, allowing her to step out. Quickly, she walked across the large empty floor towards a room in the opposite side, that stood with the door closed. Without bothering to knock, she stepped inside.

"Hello there, cutie." Spoke a strong, masculine voice from behind the desk planted in the center of the room.

"Hello Josh" she greeted back as she took a seat across the desk from the very good looking man that smiled at her.

"So, tell me, are you here to accept my offer?" he asked, casually leaning back on his chair with a knowing smirk playing on his lips.

"Actually, I am." She smirked back with confidence. "I want that record deal, now."

The smirk instantly disappeared from Josh's face and was replaced with a look of pure shock somehow mixed with excitement.

"Please tell me you are serious about this and that I'm not having a very vivid dream, again..." he pleaded as he placed a hand over his racing heart.

"I'm dead serious about this and I want you to have the paperwork ready by next week." She said, her voice coming of firm and demanding like the true business woman she was, even though there was still a smile on her lips.

"Yes!" Josh screeched "Anything you want!" he said excitedly as he fumbled with his phone before connecting a call.

After hanging up, Josh looked at the woman standing (well, sitting, but who cares) in front of him, wondering how such a crazy-looking person could be so successful and talented and remain out of the spotlight for such a long time.

"So," he started "that was me, booking the main studio for you, starting Monday." he said, staring to mess with his phone once again, typing away, before returning his full attention back to her. "Are you ready to be as famous as Madonna?" he questioned, seeming oddly excited by the idea alone.

"Actually, no..." she shook her head "I wanna be more like Freddie or Liza..."

"Freddie is dead..."

"He was, still is, and will never cease being, king." She shrugged.

"Liza is old..."

"And you think I'm getting younger?" she then crocked an eyebrow at him.

"Fair enough..." Josh said, settling back on his chair.

She smiled at him as he stared back at her with a frown forming on his face.

"I knew you were insane from the moment I saw your hair." Josh broke the silence after a few minutes of staring, his voice laced with playfulness, while he pointed at her head.

"You asked for my hand in marriage that day..." she laughed, throwing her head back. "Literally, you dropped on one knee and even offered a ring!"

"I was drunk!" he huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.

"No you weren't." She shook her head in denial.

"No, I wasn't." he admitted, pouting. "It was just... your hair. Damn woman, you look like some kind of lunatic fairy with the crazy hair, the amazing curves and the sexy accent!"

"I should've known it was because of the fairy thing..." she exclaimed, laughing louder than before.

"Why?"

"You're gay." She shrugged.

"That I am" he wiggled his eyebrows at her, smiling.

"Oh, I know that face. You better start telling me now who he is and where you met him before I slap it out of you!" she demanded playfully, but with a serious note on her voice, making Josh move uncomfortably on his desk chair.

"So, you know that some bands end their contract with their labels because they are kind of rowdy..."

"Yes..." she nodded.

"And you know I happen to own another label..."

"Yes, just tell me already!"

"So, said band is going to sign a contract with my label and I might have hit if off with one of the guys... And we've been seeing each other for a while now..." he trailed with a remorseful look on his eyes.

"So, let me get this straight, you are going to sign Freaks and you have been seeing one of them?" she asked as she maintained her face stoic.

"Um... Yes?"

The new information made her stomach feel tight in knots and her heart speed up with excitement at the same time, she would be close to her friends again, maybe.

"I can't fucking believe you!" she screamed as she stood up and slammed her hands on the desk, making everything standing on it jump from the impact.

"I'm so, so sorry. I know I should've told you sooner but it's not even that serious yet and..."

"Why didn't you tell me you were seeing Nate?!" she interrupted, with eyes big and looking down at him adoringly.

"How did you know it is Nate?" he asked, voice small and somewhat scared.

"Please, I've known the bastard for as long as I can remember, I knew he was gay before he had even thought about it.

"Oh lord," he groaned as he buried his face in his hands, fingers apart so he could look at her "you are the pinkie." He concluded, making her nod. "Why would he call you that in the first place?" he wondered.

Smiling, she shook her head and pointed at her hair, proudly in display.

"But it isn't even pink!"

"Now it isn't..."
