Fabian POV
I smirked at his expression. I had been worried when we saw them aproach, that he had his arm round her. She hated being touched. Wolfs find their mates once one or both of them turn seventeen. This guy looked in his twenties, could she be his his?? NO! I can't lose her! I was noe feeling reather stupid, of course it wasn't her mate, he was a pack wolf. Yuck.
She lent her beautiful head against my folded arms. Perfect. I didn't know if she was my mate, I was sixteen, but I prayed to God she was.
The idiot didn't seem to take the hint and didn't leave. Fool. Cassi stepped forward. Dead fool.
"I said leave!"
Who was this guy? If it was just some stranger, he would already be dead, mabye they were mates...
NO!
"I am giving you a chance to leave, out of respect for the past, but disobey me again and that will go out of the window"
What past?
"Princess, listen to me, you are confused. Come back to the pack, we can cure you of this confusion-" I snarl, is he trying to call my angel mad? She touched my arm, soothing me.
"Take him to the den" She stated and turned down the alley.
She started running, turning into a bright blur. I sigh, nodding to Jude and Garrath, who had krept behind the idiot, and the knocked him out cold from behind. Not exactly honorable, but karma could stuff it. I needed to find out what was wrong with my angel. I start to run, my surroundings bleeding into one another.
I stop outside the den entrance and slide the dumpster out the way, revealing a wooden door. I enter as silently as possible. Cassi's door is across from me, slightly ajar. I peer on. My angel is curled up on her black sheets strumming her guitar. Never grow up by taylor swift.play from a beat up stereo system in the corner. She was crying silently.
I gasp quietly, and hesitantly closed the door with a great effort. My angel never crys. It is a strain not to run inside and hold her till her tears run dry, but i know she wouldn't appreciate being seen in such a weak state.
Instead I turn to the dorway, in which the Jude had just dragged the unconcious idiot. He was stirring slightly, mumering under his breath. I smiled grimly.
He better be praying to stay asleep, because when he woke up, he was gonna pay for making my angel cry.
