WHAT?!? This rogue is part of my pack?  Usually the female joins the male pack but in this case, him having no pack... I smiled gleefully, now.

Cassi will have to stay for their wedding.  And all of the preperation that has to be done, all the people to invite, it could take months..

I glance over at my new pack member, expecting to see his embracing Valerie. Instead, he was standing frozen where he stood.  Instead of love in his eyes, I saw confusion and worry in them instead.  As I watched, he turned to Cassi and looked questionally at her.  They seemed to be having a conversation through their minds, but only packs have that abililty.  I wonder what they are talking about?

Cassi POV

This is not good.

Garreth was looking at me for confirmation.  As "Alpha" I decided whether or not his new mate was accepted into the group. 

I opened up the mind link between  to talk to him.  I had learnt to create a link with anyone a few years ago.  A very old elder wolf traded me the information for protection for his pack against my armies.  I wasn't there to attack them any way, bt esay'never look a gift horse in the mouth' soo...

As soon as the link opened, Garreth bombarded me with questions

What do I do Cassi? I mean, shes my mate but your my team and I promised you I would always be there for you and now I have my second  mate and I don't know what to do and-

What do you want to do?

He looked at me even more confused

How about I link to her?  Then I could see what shes thinking and if she has potential.

With that, I cut of the link, before I broke down infront of everyone.

While this had been happening, Garreths new "mate", had been creeping ever closer.  Suddenly, she lunged, wrapping her arms possesively.  The look on G's face of pure shock had me almost doubled over in laughter.  Trying to keep my expression straight, I took this oppertunity to delve into this bubbly girls mind.

O.M.G! i'VE FOUND MY MATE!  HES SO CUTE! WAIT TILL JANIE , SHE'LL BE SO JELOUS. I WONDER WHAT HIS PACKS LIKE. WHO'S THAT GIRL HE'S LOOKING AT?  SHE BETTER NTO BE TRYING TO STEAL MY MATE.  O.M.G I HAVE TO CALL MOM! I HAVE TO HAVE TO GET THAT WHITE WEDDING DRESS I SAW IN HENTLYS AND ORGANISE MY STUFF TO BE SENT TO HIS PACK MANOR AND-

I withdrew from her head in discust.  What a airhead.  I mentally sent what she had just been thinking over to G'. He winced and looked at me sadly.

So k, Cassi.  He smiled ruefully

It's still your choice.  But remember, she would have to join the gang and complete the trials.

If you think she can do it,and you want to take the chance, you want to do this now.  Best not to lead her on if you do choose to reject her But, I have to tell you.  If you decide that, she won't know that if she rejects you too, it stops the pain.  She'll have to do this the hard way.

Valerie POV ( A.N I know it's jumping a bit)

What is my perfect mate going to say?  Oh god, he's going to break up with that beautiful golden haired girl, for ME!  I hope she doesn't hate me for this.  But even if she does I don't cause I'm going to ask this godlike boy of mine to stop talking to her.  Nothing personal but I don't like sharing and-

His voice brought my eyes back to his.

"I Garreth Andre-"  O.M.G he's going to propose!

He left a pointed silence.  I quickly caught on

"Valerie Morgan"

He nodded and began again-

"I Garreth Andre, newly mated to Valerie Morgan choose to..."
