Yugi placed his arms out to his sides, keeping a barrier of himself to keep his parents safe.

He stared at the small group of villains that were also ready to attack.

A light sparked on his hands, soon forming more bigger by the second. The triangular necklace began to shimmer as well.

"Yugi!? How can you-" his father began to say.

"Simple. I had people help me find this power that was trapped within me" Yugi said.

Yugi twirled his body, forming his hands together as he spun around. Once he was facing the people again, he extended his leg out to the side then took his left arm, swiping it to the right. The light from his hands turned a dark orange as it made a slice through the air, causing the people that were in the front of the group to easily go down.

Yugi breathed heavily.
"Now go!" He ordered.

His mother and father nodded their heads as they rode off.

...

Atem was sitting on a rock, staring at the little camp him and his group had made.
"Seto.. Iris.. Shada.. Mahad.." Atem began to say each of their names, hoping to not miss anyone.

Then little Yugi came to his mind..

"I hope he is alright" the Prince sighed.

"Everyone stay behind me!" Mahad shouted in the distance.

Atem looked up, seeing Mahad forming a shield. He then trailed his eyes to the great army that was riding their way towards them. The prince jumped off the rock, rushing towards his teammates.

"My prince, we'll handle this, stay back" Seto warned.

Atem smirked.
"Please. I didn't come here to watch everything. I came here to fight and that is what I will do"

"Very well.." Seto said as he pulled out the millennium rod.

Atem drew out his sword, using his other hand to grasp the millennium puzzle.

Father..

They all charged, having the prince lead. Seto and Shada took the left. Mahad and Iris to the right. Atem left with the middle.

Atem dodged then swiped, remembering the techniques Shimon and many others had taught him when he was young.

...

Yugi stood there, wiping his mouth as drool and trickles of blood were forming on the outer edges of his lips.

More beams of light shot from the ground, swiftly taking down the enemies, but Yugi has yet to fully control the magic steadily. Sometimes he would exert too much at times he does not need to. Then there were dire times he needed a lot of energy but could not let it out. Which nearly got him killed.

"Agh!" Yugi grunted as he fell to one knee.

He placed his left hand onto the large gash on his right arm. Going from his shoulder to wrist.

Yugi held his tears. Yugi swung his legs, his body rolling sideways in the air, kicking the person who had got him down, into the sand.

The last power Yugi could manage to use made the last man turn to dust.

The young boy sluggishly walked to his horse, Ori who also was walking towards Yugi. Ori was kind enough to lie in the sand to let Yugi easily on.

"Let's go back home" he choked.

The boy let his arm dangle to the side, trying to keep his mind off the deep wound.

He took the top portion of his tunic then bit his mouth hard, letting the screams of agony grow quiet.
